Fix Your Pitted Foxbody Mustang Quarter Window Moldings S03E53
Here's how to fix the 1/4 window moldings on your 1987-1993 Mustang Fox Body. You can do this at home with a few products that won't break the bank but maybe take up some of your time. These windows were in pretty good shape to begin with but it is why I stress the use of a proper filler and not to just build up lots of primer that won't flex under various conditions! Hopefully you find this video helpful!
Some products are no longer continued...so I have substituted for what I use today.

Attention everyone! If you are looking to have your coupe quarter windows redone....THIS is the guy to contact. I had a set done for my car,ABSOLUTELY an amazing job! Couldn't be happier.
Thank you for this video!
Looks good! Thanks for the info on the putty. Mine have about 24 years in the Texas sun and really need to be restored.
Thank you for posting this video... I cant wait to do this when the weather gets warmer here in the midwest....
Can’t wait to tackle this over the Winter. Thanks 👍🏻
Very well presented. I did this same method on my 92 5.0 and they turned out great. 👍
Brother thank you again for the video amazing work as always and love watching cuz I learn every time I watch something appreciate all the hard work bro for real God bless buddy
Thank you for taking the time and making this and listing the products used. I plan on doing this to my 93 teal Cobra quarter windows.
Thank you for this video, I'm restoring my coupes quarter glass using this method.👍🐺
That is Amazing. Thanks for the video. Ditto on what Wayne Selma said.
Here in the SW High altitude desert sun has backed mine hard and brittle. Whole sections have chipped away. Already have replacements that sadly aren't logo'd but at least won't detract. Great technique. If I can find a salvageable set I'll have to give it a try.
Great content. I will be fixing 6 quarter notch windows this winter.
Upol makes a flexible filler designed for bumper covers that might work well too. Nice job.
I love the transtar 2-1 primer.. It covers and fills in scratches so well and leaves such a nice smooth working surface with usually only light sanding needed..
Awesome videos!!
Thanks for the share I am just getting ready to do my 88 :)
Great information. Thank you.
I used roll on Berliner from Wal-Mart had to wet sand between coats and it turned out good but I had a hatchback cactus to mount them on as I worked them
