Fob stopped locking the doors 10 years ago, checked the fuse and guess what, it was blown. New fuse, Fob Works!! Thank you!

thankyou and also I did find the fuses and yes the 20 was burn central locking ,also got the trunk open with key I had to add wd40 into key hole and that work must to been stuck so the key does work now

Exzellente Hilfe. Selbst in Deutschland suchen Viele nach dem Fehler und finden ihn nicht. Meine Mercedes-Werkstatt hätte gern beide Schlüssel, Steuergeraet und und sonstwas erneuert, Kosten 1000 € + statt 2 Cent für die Sicherung und etwas Öl für das Kofferraumschloss. 😻 Bin dir sehr dankbar. Ralf nahe Berlin.

Thank you very much for your useful post. Iam really facing the same issue after the battery of my w169 (A170 from 05 )got empty last month, till now I try to manage this issue, I have even replaced the front SAM but unfortunately without success, I was very happy to see such videos like yours but I can't find any faulty fuse in my w169. If someone can give more advice I will appreciate it.😢

Trying to work out what your actual problem is with your W169. Is it the central locking doesn’t work? Have you replaced the battery in the key? The battery in the key is only for the central locking, nothing else - it has zero to do with starting the car.

I have a 2005 clk240, currently having trouble getting the rear windows to go up .... Changed the switch on drivers door and checked the fuses they all look fine .... Only passenger side front window works on its own switch .... Do you have any suggestions where i could resolve this problem

Hi. My suggestion is to scan the door modules of the car first.

By taking fuse out or replacing it does it clear the codes or need a programmer to clear?

No reprogramming is needed.

Pull that fuse out, check it, the module also will reset.

I get my mechanic to remove the shorted alarm horn hidden inside the cover of wheel arc on the driver side. Insert fuse F8 in the boot. Manage to get the remote working again as the F8 fuse also supply power to remote system in the car. Regards.

I want to no how to your the system to scan the car to no what is the problem can you help me boss

@melhawary156 2004. Try it, most modules need some sort of reset.

Hi Guys, thanks for Watching, likes and subscribes. Please consider checking your FOB first, you can do so buy posting the infra-red light to your phone camera, if you can't see the light through the camera screen, most likely the battery is flat or the remote is faulty. Also there are all sorts of remote syncing/reset instructions on KZread. Thanks and good luck.

Help anyone with x166 GL450 2016. I have no idea where the fuse for the door locking keyless system is located. There are none in the trunk. Has 4 boxed. 1 under the rear behind driver and 2 under passengerseat. 1 on the dash right and one in the engine bay. No labels to explain which does what.

Your car should come with a complete sheet of information in the boot in spare wheel area. Did you check that?

Hi. Ww bought ir used and there are no other papers except the one in the rear fusebox behind driver. This does not give any information about the fuses inder passenger seat.

I inspected all fuses and did not find any blown.

I had the same problem but the fuse was okay, it fixed itself when I unplugged and plugged the fuse. Hopefully I helped somebody.

Use an ammeter instead fuse once, see what sort of current it is demanding.

Its a lie there is a key buy why dot you use IR ?

Followed the steps. Simply. That was not it. All fuses were fine
