I have this weird issue where Noise Suppression on my PC will do it's job. However, when I speak into the microphone it picks up my fan (So naturally I turn the fan off and roast myself) and than it sadly picks up the PS4 (cause the fan is loud rip) and I'm curious if this is an issue you've had?

You need to connect your monitor to your PC with the USB passthrough cable or it will not recognize through your pc, your monitor should have come with one for sure.

Fantastic!!!!! You were spot-on Thank you VERY-VERY much. The powered hub worked very well. I put it under a heavy wood desk. Yours is the best solution I have found to-date! Dropped the yeti gain to about 20% and could pump the windows level all the way up to 80%. I might have been able to go higher on the windows level but that 80% was more than what I needed for my set-up.

My mic was fine but it was on a arm, had to move my ''studio'' aka second bedroom around to accommodate my husband joining me and now I have it back in its stand (as my desk is too chunky for the clamp of the arm) its started to buzz. I have it plugged into a anker usb powered hub and it's buzzing. My pc is not on my desk and the only other thing I can think that is giving the vibration aspect is my external HDD but that is on the opposite side of the desk and I cant feel it with my own hand. I've tried moving the cable and such but there is still a buzz. Any suggestions?

    1. if you plug into ur monitor and lights turn on but not being recognized in windows, is cause you don't have usb passthrough cable connecting monitor to pc. 2. you have to select sound device in sound properties correctly. 3. which make and model usb hub is it?

Thanks for the video. This is not a real solution. A properly built product would have worked properly. This mic. has a major flaw which can not be identified easily. It makes a whining noise even on my phone when I connect it through a usb. It has nothing to do with the power of a computer. The noise is different on various usb cables and various usb hubs. Blue screwed up something and they do not want to admit it.

  • @CashMeow

you may be correct, however, this is a mitigatory vid and inherenty works with all usb microphones, and indeed has to objectively have to do with issues of electromagnetic interference coming from a powerful pc. Maybe u have a weaker pc that isnt as pronounced, but as a rule of thumb, indeed a higher spec oc will produce more electro magnetic noise, vs one that is weaker.
