My problem was that the date and time used to change every time I switched on the tv. Even though I had the system provided time on. But this method worked for me. Remember, we have to turn off and then on the tv. Thanks 👍

Not useful, it is showing no internet connection when switched to static. But my connection in the mobile is fine .

Other alternative is change the Date and Time settings of your TV to manual mode. Dont keep on automatic mode. Now restart the TV and you will not face any disconnection issue. Only changing date also works. No need to set the time. But this tiring work. Better is we can drag one ethernet cable from router onto TV. Shouldn't face any issue after that

Does not work inspite of doing everything you mentioned...I have also reserved the IP on my router which is same as the one I mentioned in the TV...still the wifi drops after 5 - 10 mins...all my devices works except for mi tv...so definitely not a ISP issue

Nice 👍 , I have installed jio giga fiber and opted 100 Mbps plan , router is kept just below the tv but I am getting only 23 to 26 Mbps speed which is not enough for my 49 inch mi tv , pls suggest what to do, also it only capture 2.4 ghz and not 5ghz. Please help

@@swadhin1991 Not Yet, so I have connected through Ethernet, and I also came to know that Mi tv has only working with 2.4 ghz and not 5 ghz. Note: I have MI TV 2-year-old model. so no idea about current models.

Same problem mujhe b hui bt ab thik ho gyi bs re-start ka option nhi mila or thodi der baad mene KZread chlaya to a gya 😊

Dear Shubham, Great !,I was facing an issue of MovieHD app getting freeze after running for 10 minutes.I am using mobile hotspot. I tried many solutions,reinstalling,resetting and what not... since last 4 months!Fortunately came accross this video...and miracle ! Problem solved !! Done as you said for DNS setting . There was router problem solved

Changing date and time trick works, but when I switch off tv and switch on again, the date is going back to January 1, 2018. I have tried automatic update date and time and manual, nothing seems stable after switching off and switching on TV.

It did not fix my issue. I'm using Jio Fiber. Infact changing it to Static from DHCP wrecked my connection. It is showing no internet. Had to change it back to DHCP. Please provide something solid. This is not working for me. In my case Ip and Gateway was not empty so I did not touch them. Only DNS1 and 2 I deleted and reentered same values. Then restarted and internet was gone. Also Chromecast is showing some issues. After casting my phn the picture is freezing on the tv. Please provide some fix ASAP
