Are you having any of these issues? PS4 slim not turning on, no power, no beeps or light, no power but good power supply, southbridge broken, or not powering up? In this video I am going to attempt to show you a possible way to repair your issue by doing a PS4 Southbridge change and reball.

Good work man, pro tip avoid using capton tape to mask out the board, you can very easily heat the other components under the tape, reflow them and when the solder flows the component sticks to the capton tape and messes their arrangement when the tape deforms. It's far better to use tinfoil as the components wont stick to it.

that is one cool suction pump thingy I have seen it on aliexpress but I never seen anyone use it on a video, I might wanna buy one now cause sometimes I give the chip nicks and it's just not a good practice especially if I am wrong and I need to put the chip back on.
What if it beeps on first with light but no life 2nd try beeps but no light still no life. Is it board problem or psu?

Those small components you resoldered were not put back on correct. This is why only electrical engineers should do this work!

We dont know if it was working before? and you cant have 400+ console to repair. But on your SB reballing you didnt show the challenges you had doing the reballing, video is good, could be more informative, intuitive and directed at teaching, Seems more self gratification. One last thing, you doesnt seems to read comments or question, so what the point you here for?
With my ps4 slim beeps turns off. Take out the power lead plug it back in tap the bottom of the ps4 it wil work sometimes. Or l will take the power supply out get the hot air gun on it let it cool down put it back in boom ☺ work's perfectly until next day 😂 then do the same again
So I’m SOL with RDR2 stuck in my slim.

There's a manual eject you can get to without opening the console all the way, just need a Phillips head screwdriver
A fraud. If you have a short where you showed, the chip is faulty. Reballing it won't solve the problem. Beyond that, you didn't show the reballing process entirely and the batch of the chip, to compare with the one supposedly reballed. Bottom line: a reballing won't solve the issue when the chip is faulty.

He said he replaced the chip with a new one, the new southbridge (which came from a donor ps4) was what he balled. Then installed on the Motherboard
