Part B - Installation of the actual extra subwoofer
For Part A - I use a 1cm think Kmart Fitness/Yoga Mat and cut it to shape with 4 layers. It was pretty hard to find 2" think padding here in Brisbane. This was my alternative (4 layers of Yoga Mat).
In total, I'd say give yourself about 2 hours for this DIY. You will spend most of your time squeezing the wadding through the port holes into the subwoofer box. Everything else about the fix is quite easy and quick... but man... that wadding... far out...
