copy the bin path from sql server folder and paste in command prompt as : cmd path Them use commands

You just need to add path of c:\program files\my sql\SQL server\bin to the environment variables

How to solve type iniatiator error

I guess this problem occurs most of the time (like in my case) because if you have XAMPP installed you will probably have a path to "c:\xampp\mysql\bin" in the environment variables. Just delete this path variable and insert the path to "c:\program files\MySQL\MySQL Server 8.0\bin" Thx for your effort Amit!

No one ever said that. If it will be slow, people will comment, it’s slow. 😊 You can reduce the speed of any KZread video to 0.75. I hope you know how to do that.

FOR ALL THE PEOPLE WHO ARE STILL HAVING AN ISSUE AFTER DOING EVERYTHING IN THE TUTORIAL CORRECTLY HERE IS HOW I SOLVED MY ISSUE mysql -u root -p -h 127.0.0.1 -P 3306 the enter your password if the issue is in visual studio on the Add Connection Dialog 1.Just click the Advanced... Button 2.Under Connection section Look for Port and server and input the above port number mine was 3306 3.Click okay and then Test the connection I sincerely hope the time i spent searching for this will save someone some headache

I first tried to add `C:\Program Files\MySQL\MySQL Server 8.0\bin` into the path (env variable), didn't work out. It might be another reason but in my case it was all about copying and pasting the password, typing it out manually solved the issue.

This worked for me: Windows+R > services.msc > MySQL80 > Start For some reason it was off
