My usb keyboard usb wire is working i checked but keyboard is not turning on. its happening for many months the keyboard just randomly turn on on its own but many times it just keeps of for whole day please tell the fix. i even reinstalled its drivers and used your fixes in this video.

I have a Lenovo thinkpad x1 2 in 1 and my keyboard still doesn’t work after updating drivers and removing / reinstall drivers.

if you are using a wireless keyboard, try putting in new batteries or recharging it, worked for me!

Thank you but unfortunately this didn't work. Twice now a windows update has bricked my laptop keyboard. External keyboard works but this isn't ideal. The first time it happened a system restore managed to resolve the situation. This time no. Tried reinstalling drivers and scanning the pc as you suggested. So frustrating. Surely Windows updates need to be tested for issues like this.

I'm having the opposite problem...my laptop keyboard works perfectly but my external isn't...so frustrating as I use that to do everything pretty much :(

My keyboard doesn't work, it's a laptop asus rog strix g16 and it has rgb and then it started uploading something and now when it's done, it stop working the keyboard no work, just the touchpad work :( what can I do?

My lenovo ideapad gaming 3 laptop (ryzen 5 5600h and rtx 3050) keeps randomly turning itself off when I game on it while it's plugged in. I have no overheating issues and my wall outlets can supply more than enough power too. Do you have any idea what the issue might be?

What do you do when even the virtual keyboard isn’t typing?

My Laptop is Dell Inspiron 15 5000. My spacebar is not working and I tried this method but it is still not working. Only the spacebar key is not working. Rest all the keys are working fine. Please suggest me any other method to fix this

It’s weird really, especially that my K95 platinum keyboard from Corsair it’s working in the Bios but in windows 11 not working at all !! Is the issue with windows ?

No, it didn’t work. The odd thing is when I turn the laptop on, on the lock screen if I say, forgot my passcode to get in it either brings the screen back up, asking for my pin or passcode, and then the keyboard will work. Or it’ll go to Microsoft something asking for my Pin to get in and the keyboard will work once I get past that screen, though keyboard does not work and only makes a weird sound when I type on it. The sound is like Tink Tink.

Screen keyboard

I can't even log in because the letters and symbols do not work (the numbers and number pad do). I can get into the oncreen keyboard (with the little man icon) , but same thing: just the numbers work. The machine is new and I haven't used it much. The battery was not charged when I plugged it in and started it. It doesn't have access to the battery so I can force a stop either. What do you suggest?
