I'll go ahead and say it, Fix-It-Sticks are amazing. Once you have used them, you wonder how you got by all these years without them. They are literally the right tool for the job...
So what are they? They are a compact handy tool kit that comes with a T-Handle driver and an assortment of bits. But the magic is not only the bits they come with, but also the assortment of specialty gun tools you can get as well as my favorite, torque limiters.
When you are mounting a scope, or tightening down action screws on a rifle, or pretty much anything involving firearms, Torque matters. The Torque Limiters that come with the Fix It Sticks are amazing. Giving you consistent torque all the time.
They can be a life saver in the field or out on a hunt. You can find them a few different places, such as:

    Some losers shoot videos in a studio, Ivan hikes 100 miles into the backcountry carrying only a camera, a rifle, and a smirk. Lewis and Clark wish they could've been this badass.

    I watched a video here the other day where a guy cross checked the torque limiter to the torque driver . He attached the T-handle to the torque driver , and then an adapter, and then each subsequent torque limiter, to a bit and proceeded to torque a bolt to each limiter value … and guess what ? Every single torque limiter that was tested stopped at each given value with the coinciding value of the torque driver . I was surprised and impressed with the consistency and accuracy of both .

    What’s so great about a torque limiter as opposed to an adjustable in/lb torque driver?

  • @KitBadger

    @KitBadger

    4 жыл бұрын

    I'd imagine the tolerance/calibration is better and you also don't have the bulky form factor of things like the Fat Wrench. Because most people probably only need 2 limiters for their range kit.

    @@KitBadger Fix it sticks - yes, started with tools for bicycles. Later, Fix-It-Sticks, after being sold to Brown Line Metalworks, got involved in selling Sloky made torque limiters, along with many other Sloky dealers. Sloky just adds Fix-it Sticks name to their torque limiters, doing something which is known as co-branding. Sloky is a subdivision on the JIC, which makes metal cutting tools. They originally designed torque limiters for tightening clamping screws for metal cutting inserts. www.sloky.com.tw/en/page/Brochure/brochure.html sloky.jic-tools.com.tw/ www.slokyusa.com/app/ Do a search for "Sloky" on KZread, there is even more info. Not saying anything bad about Sloky torque limiters, just providing additional information. Some people think that Fix-It-Stick invented or makes these torque limiters, which is certainly not true. Fix-It Sticks just found another application for this Sloky stuff.
