Hey - removing the top of the print head and turning it over to insert the ribbon cables was a great idea - thanks!
I have cleaned printhead but still same problem. What can i do to fix it?
Hey guys I have an Hp 6700 premium printer and I have the same problem as in the video. I took out the printer head and cleaned it but I still have the same problem, the printer says that the printer head was not detected, missing or incorrectly installed.I need a little help because i'm not sure if it's a broken print head or something else.
Thank you for sharing. Is there a Part 2?
My printer prints are black stripes, I give the option to clean the head, it prints white stripes for several times and then returns to print the images with black stripes. I have tried to align it but it tells me that the alignment cannot be completed. Should I replace my printhead or what can I do? Thanks
On this printer I am getting carrier jam but carrier moves. I cleaned the print head. Not sure I pushed it from park position... would that cause the problem? How to restore park position (cover on print nozzles) ? Thanks
There are 2 wide cables at back of printer head do both ge connected or just the upper one...the cabkes are on the left of printer head..
sir pls. send a video for hp desinejet (plotter) t830 and 730 how to clean cloged head with a machine and without machine
Didn't he forget to remove the plastic cover that he placed over the print head to protect it. I didn't see him pull the plastic off and he replaced the print head without removing it? Probably the reason many reported that his fix didn't work.

yes for sure he left the tape and film on printhead but i know for sure he knows what he is doing in regards to printers.
Part 2 Please, i have the same issue
Thanks very much - quite helpful - I was finally able to get printhead out of its carriage, and clean everything. Unfortunately, after all the efforts, my 7612 is still giving me the "Ink System failure" message, and I can't get past it. I haven't found anything to help further with that....

Maybe the thin transparent plastic is leaking air. Try to find some glue to seal it airtight again.
ok, and how did you sort the issue ?
Can you please post a link to part two? Annoying as the aim is to fix the problem but the video ends as it started - with a broken printer!
I enjoyed the music, broaden your horizon. I found the video great for cleaning the printhead, however, a loss for not resolving the problem.

Has anyone seen part 2 of this video?
Let me tell you guys, gals and whatever what worked for me after watching and reading any possible video, document and forum on the net: I sucked with a syringe in the pressure port of the printer. Then after power up one can clearly hear the short pssss hissing sound of air pressure being released when the head moves out of its home position. And there it is - the printer is working again. Again - I sucked in the PRINTER pressure port, not the head's mating hoses side. It seems the pressure pump was stuck or there was some obsticle in the pump's hose. Probably a stuck motor though.

@@geglogu I guess he refered to the upper part of cartiage which has springs attached to it. And if you hear unusual high hissing sound during the clean up, there must be some air leaking from the thin transparent pastic seal. You may need to find some glue to seal it back again.
It didn`t work then?
He forgot to remove that big piece of tape he put on the back.. I dont know???

Sure ,otherwise it would have worked I guess.
I recently change ink to a generic brand.. then didn't use the printer for a week.. when I came back I got this error- I watched this but rather than taking it ALL apart, (Cables air lines etc etc) I just lifted the up the print head and saw ink all over the bottom.. so I wiped it with alcohol and it seemed to be fine... and I switched back to HP ink.
Poderia me informar se alguém resolveu esses problema?
where are part 2
I have tried same but not working , it's 20% chance to solved printhead issue in this printer.

Printhead Missing or Failed Problem in HP Designjet T830

Check if the printhead has good contact with the printer. If it does, then the printhead may be fried.

i would bet those contacts are a couple of microns of gold plating. Cleaning themwith an abrasive, is a good way to ruin them. Like the contacts on my Camera lenses, I would suggest using Isoppropyl alcohol, and a cotton tipped swab. That's what canon reccomends
i had the same issue on my HP Officejet 7612. I had tried all sorts of reset (partial reset, OOB reset), except the full reset (no setup cartdriges available), but nothing was working for me. I have even tried to add the aluminum foil on the printhead circuit, but it did not help either. So, with nothing to lose, I entered in the service menu and decided to try the option “MFG”. A grid appeared on the print screen, and I let it run for about 5 seconds, then I unplugged the power cord from the printer. After that, I reconnected the power cord, and the printer started working fine again!

There not brass plates they're gold plated... or they were before you sanded them.

Okay, gold.
Real solution would be interesting! Part 2? Or is it like it is (was) widely discussed, that HP made those printers stop working once you had inserted non-HP-ink (by firmware-updates) - basically a criminal act and there were several trials dealing with this "policy", obviously with not too many results - will never buy something from HP again ...
Could have linked part 2 rather than having to try to find it. 😡

Get rid of the crap rap noise (music).
no no no , dont try this, your will ruin the head!
After all this, the HP still didn’t work. So I trashed it and bought a new wide paper printer.
This other video shows an extra step that fixes the problem: kzread.info/dash/bejne/n32GpayMp5bJc5M.html
