FIX Error in web.xml File Eclipse IDE | Servlet & JSP web.xml Error RESOLVED
Learn how to resolve errors in the web.xml file of dynamic web projects(Servlet or JSP).
The newer version of Tomcat Server(Tomcat 10) is using jakarta API and jakarta namespace. And this namespace is not mapped in servlet or JSP projects.
So just add this new namespace to your project web.xml file. Here is the namespace which you can copy and paste to web.xml of your project:
A servlet is a Java programming language class that is used to extend the capabilities of servers that host applications accessed by means of a request-response programming model.
Although servlets can respond to any type of request, they are commonly used to extend the applications hosted by web servers. For such applications, Java Servlet technology defines HTTP-specific servlet classes.

*_Because of Tomcat Server 10 you'll get error in web.xml. I have resolved this error and it's working 100%. Do let me know whether you're also getting error or not._*

Mam I don't know the prob keeps on repeating Everytime. This port conflicts..of my Tom cat 10 server doing in eclipse..I'm using in port no's in 8000's the admin port and http..when I change to 9000 around it days Exeception Help me!

Maam. its still happening for me. I did what u showed in this video. the problem is when u reload the web.xml file. the same issue will get displayed.

@@bhavya2132 I was trying to but it not resolved, so I again reinstalled Tomcat10.1 but again it gives error in 2nd line so I replaced the xmlns value to server's(web.xml) xmlns value, so it's getting resolved like this. I replacing every xmlns value for every project.
