Fix and Make Any Mouse Silent
Tried to make my broken mice silent - or at least how to make it quieter. I usually buy a new mouse each time the clicker gets bad, usually only the left click is unresponsive, or it just gives me double clicks.
I then found out that its an easy fix. So in this video I fix the mouse and also give it a silent switch.
The old mouse is the Logitech M275 and M280. Old switches are Omron and Kailh. New ones are Kailh silent switches.
You only need a soldering kit, no skill is required.

Why didn't you change the scroll button together? Is the mosmo button silent?
Nice I had no need to exchange the switches, I actually went with a tiny piece of soft thin foam adhesive on the copper plate under the metal part most people bend, cut it the same size as the edge👍 took a few attempts to get it right but it's literally perfect 🙌

Can you explain in more detail how you did this? I want to turn a mouse into a soft click one without having to solder anything. I got a few old ones to try solutions on before I do it on a more expensive one.

The size of screw under the battery sticker on my Logitech M325 is so tiny that I'd have to buy one. It is a Phillips head and my teeny-tiny flathead won't work with it - amazingly.

Invest in those screwdriver kits from China. Usually includes a plastic pry-tool. Usually listed as "mobile phone repair kit"
Is it possible to turn a MX3 Master 3 silent ? I'm scared to do it because it's an expensive mouse...

You have to check the switches. If they are the same, it's doable
Hi, i have a question. My middle mouse click have 4 pin switch. And the pcb have 2 vacant pin in the middle of those 4 pin. Do you think the silent kailh switch will fit there?

Do the opposite, buy standard Kaihl or Omron switches online and solder it on, replacing the silent switches
Does 2pins switch works in any 3pins-based mouse? Do it has to be placed in a fixed position or can i solder it in any directions?
