As a side note to everyone: If you have MSI Afterburner, or any 3rd party software that displays FPS performance or GPU heat, I recommend closing it in the system tray, as that will allow you to open roblox.

It's interesting isnt it, I don't know why it particualrily works, but the message "Reomove any application that are cheats" or what not, is what fixed the problem

So I tried this hoping it would work, but when I deleted the Web2view file and clicked on the player beta app there's no error sign that would show up and if i proceed onto the next step, it won't work. Is there any way to fix this??

Your fix is most likely more simple, you might just have to delete all Roblox files through cmd prompt (ask ChatGPT how to), restart your computer, or just reinstall the game. The other things that could be affecting the games ability to open is firewalls, virus protectors, or actual exploits.

Yeah it’s bizzare that Roblox patches ways to fix their problems. Look into bloxstrap, apparently its like a way to run Roblox without the actual runner, or something like that

@@TheBloxBoss i tried that and it didnt work. but i did find a fix which no one told about on yt or reddit, when u reset ur pc u have to connect wifi and login with Microsoft accout, otherwise windows wont install some necessary files required to run roblox. alternatively for people who have tried everything could just make a new user on their pc snd transfer their files and data to that account

also if this doesn't work. try changing settings in or removing apps which directly affect hardware, like disabling msi after burners overclocking, reinstalling geforce experience or updating graphic drivers, windows and bios also running and sfc scan in ctrl panel may fix the issue

this didnt work for me but something else did, go to device manager > display adapters then right click and update the driver. after i did this roblox launched just fine

For people who have a situation like me and this method DIDNT work here's a solution. Moving to the part where he goes to the file location ONLY delete the installer. This will prevent roblox installing rather than playing. I am unsure if this will prevent updates however it is much better than not playing at all.

yeah, it opens the app, but when u close it, it breaks again and u have to redownload for it to open again.

I have a very similar issue, but my roblox player doesn't get closed by itself, it stays on forever, it is just nowhere to be seen. I see it in task manager, it just stays on, menacingly. 0:24 it disappears here in the video, but mine doesn't. I tried every method like this and nothing worked. could there be any way to fix it?

You need to shut of roblox in the task manager and search roblox in task manager search and then right click and click end task
