For older gta online era players FiveM = MTA RageMP = SAMP One allowed to use mods,scripts.., other using only game files... thats it :))

its not a matter of easier or harder and any coding can be learned. Its about availability for people that do not know how to make a server from scratch. fivem been around for a very long time so they managed to build a community and this community has built scripts and freameworks over the years. This allows people to freely download these scripts and people been making tutorials on how to install, program, and work with these scripts over time. Rage is just new, not harder

Love this vid man! I'm kinda leaning towards RageMP cuz most of FiveM's servers are not English and they are not really good to be honest lmao. It also has NPC's in maps which is very weird since the NCP's aren't even real.

I don't know if you updated your video or not but as someone who played mostly on FiveM and now played sometime on Eclipse I can assure you the sync/desync portion of your video is wrong. We used to see cars flying glitching hitting others cars or people while in the drivers screen everything was fine, and this happened on all of the FiveM servers I played on almost all occasions. However with RageMP not just me but my friends who also joined over are all saying the same thing, the sync is a blast the cars drifting and turning on all of our screens are same someone else racing through the corner while all of us are chilling at the square we all see the same thing smooth af and no glitching. Performance wise to add to your video there are a lot less stutters in general in RageMP and the performance is significantly better even with 10 times the players online which is mind blowing.

I am actively looking for a great role-playing server but the few that I have found to play on my game doesn’t crash. It just doesn’t load very good. Meaning it looks like I’m under the map most of the time roads don’t render in also buildings, etc..

the sync/desync in some of the servers i play are kinda bad for vehicles in fivem

FiveM is a stronger platform, it needs a better PC. but there is 1 thing you need to do to make sure there aren't any rendering issues. Textures to Normal, Peds Density to a minimum, everything else can be on maximum

Something ive noticed is when you find a good economy server on fiveM its far more immersive than RageMP, in terms of UI, not having names or numbers over head, no map when not in a car, ect ect, i played abit of Rage servers & very quickly lost immersion in my character

so what I got from this is RAGEMP is just a beta version of what it could be

For the added Ymaps you don’t need to set your Graphics to normal. Some server don’t script their Ymaps or XMLs very well and that will cause collisions. With that having higher settings will cause more issues. Find a good server with actual developers who know what they are doing. Avoid servers run by kids.

16:10 Your correct, and also for FiveM it depends on how optimized the server is. How the devs manage the memory, etc. I get the same FPS as you and I play with a GTX 1060, and the server I am in averages around 24-30 people during patrol hours.

Nope :) been using it for 2+ years no issues and it is very commonly used

Reminds me of MTA and SAMP, in samp there were no mods like in MTA, in MTA there were a lot more advanced and complex mods and scripts. but it runs worse.

You are wrong about how you can run a fiveM server. You can buy from any source, or run it off your own PC. You can have unlimited people on the server and the highest I have seen is 800z

You need to have gta on epic rockstars or steam

It seems rage has more potential for unique mechanics but it's harder for devs so fivem is better at this moment (except maybe on russian servs but that's just another world)

RedM is good. Has a big Role Play Community too.

You don't buy servers from FiveM. Fivem is a mod for GTA5. If you want a server for Fivem, you need to get one from Zap or use a VPS. The only thing you maybe will purchase from FiveM is EUP which is 15 USD a month. Fivem overall has more professional and realistic RP communities, and RageMP has less good RP servers and less actual menu RP based. (This is only my personal experience so correct me if I'm wrong)

You may just have to lower your graphics, I have played on eclispe for a year and I don't lag at all, I will have the odd issues when speeding at 240km/h with multiple vehicles and people in the area but it is rare.

The biggest issue of fivem is that right after frameworks been out for public , creating you re own server became just a matter oglf drag and drop folders .the problem with that is that 99 % of servers look and feel the same . They all have the same resources and so on . Missed the days when only devs could start a server . Back then there were very few servers but they all felt different from one an other . Fivem is dying now . Extremly boring

Agreed also that explains why I noticed every server is more or less the same i thought they was all owner by the same person or something maybe still are. I see tons of servers where they'be got the same load screen similar where it plays annoying rap music at max volume, everything is basically the same Only thing what's different is the logo and maybe sometimes the Guns work a little different but generally copy n paste You play one. You've played them all and unique servers aren't really populated

in RageMP 1.1 sync is much better now, vehicles and combat, also i think having no mods on ragemp prevents cheating and gaining an advantage. but server owners can add mods to the server making the mod usable for every player.

FiveM, it uses the official GTA Online infrastructure, but obviously you need a decent PC for it. if you have a bad PC, go with Rage but there are way less hardcore RP servers on Rage.

My favourite is fivem's transport tycoon, it isn't RP, and is based on jobs and the economy You really have to work and put real life hours into developing your skills and biz status, apply to discord companies as well as mini companies etc. I havnt yet found any other server that is as good or immersive as this one.. i started playing it around July-August and i have ranked up over 2k hrs already 😂

@@ZezGames haha nice! Yea its fun, I joined during the first lockdown and servers were packed full then! It was so much fun, met so many new people lol The main server borked itself up over the past few weeks, so its literally been dead until recently, the developers been doin stress tests on the server and have went from 182 down to 30 and now upto 256 capacity, disabled all npc trains etc in a bid to fix the issue with everyone falling through the map XD

The "Scripts/Coding" is completly wrong... fivem is a way hard to coding; the "fivem team" have some scripts that you are required to use, and they just do the same thing that you start a code from zero on rage, they literally force you to use a " library " which makes hard to do a simple event like: spawn the player when you wanted to. FiveM have just a couple events from server that you can manager the player, mostly you have to create this by yourself, like (onPlayerDied) , RAGEMP - you just put this on serverside and everytime that a player dies you can manage its death, but in fivem you have to create a loop and every 1ms you have to check: (isPlayerAlive? - yes? do nothing - no? send the event) and this is really bad...

Events like: PlayerEnterVehicle / PlayerLeaveVehicle / PlayerEnteringVehicle PlayerWeaponChange etc... for each of this, you have to create a loop that runs from the player connect until player disconnect, and they just get a thread from player CPU, just to run it all the time verifying if player has enter or not in a vehicle

I use GeForce gtx 1650 and it’s so bad on fivem but on gta like the actual game it runs on very high

What pisses me off in RageMP especially in Eclipse is that you can run up into a fight with a Shotgun and a .50 you can pull out the shotgun when your not even far away from the guy perfect range for a shotgun and unload 5 bullets into the guys chest and then he can turn around and fire 3 .50 shots and your injured.

Bro am I the only fucking person that fivem JUST KEEPS FUCKING CRASHING I know my computer can handle it, it did fine the first day and now ever since it’s just been crashing and crashing and it’s so fucking annoying and I’m thinking about quitting GTA before I’ve really even given it a shot it’s just extremely frustrating to keep having my game fucking crash and I don’t even know what’s happening I’ve tried most of the methods to stop it from crashing and it keeps fucking happening please help 😭

Check out AltV, it's better than RageMP and is not run by corrupt apes.
