Currently, I’m in the process of decluttering. Oddly enough, it’s not to replace but to simple get rid of stuff since my lifestyle has changed. I think having a vision board is a great idea. Wonderful video! Thanks for sharing 😊

I will begin most definitely with the decluttering. My style is all over the place. But I’ve been gauging more and more with identifying as “elevated simplicity “ so curating it more towards that.

2023 was my year for adding elevated basics and adding things that were missing in my wardrobe. I bought 2 blazers, added some basics as I fell in love with Aritizia and Hanifa. I also explored and purchased from several Black Owned brands. In 2024, I am on a mission to find sleek Black heels that are classic but edgy.

I have a couple bags in my truck, I’m so embarrassed lol I needed to hear this today. Great video as usual!

9 minutes in and the part of being influenced by others and what they have. I felt like I couldn't figure out why I didn't love the thing that ppl were raving about. But like u said if it's outside of my style it can be uncomfortable. Even body type it doesn't suit my body like it did that person I saw it on. This is such a great video. I need to read your e book. I definitely try to be intentional, but I want to be even more intentional. Sometimes, those repeated ads on social media will finally get me.

Hey boo!! I’m def in a season of transition so a closet and wardrobe reset is in order!! I’m guilty of the bins in the garage and closet 😭. I had to let things go that are no longer my style even if had tags on them. I kept holding on like oh I can wear it next season or maybe if I do this… no sis you haven’t worn it since you bought it let it go!! I’m realizing I need to keep a better inventory because I have fallen victim to thinking about what I don’t have and forgetting what I do have so I end up buying more of those things 😩 thank you for all the helpful tips and relatable scenarios.

Great tips! I've done my second delcutter the top of the new year, but haven't made a list of what I have already own in the closet. I'll work on that so I don't distract myself once I see all the new spring pieces and justify why I have to have that specific item (again) in my closet.

Thank you for another informative video. What I plan to do in 20224 is take more risks with color and patterns. I want to play with color more and put colors together that may not usually go together and I also want to mix patterns and textures and see what I get. I want to have fun with my clothes!

I’ve gotten better at building my closet still a few capsule things needed, 2023 I got to add a few jeans that actually like need a few more. My closet is definitely missing a really good white button shirt I have some but the fit and the quality is not what I’m looking for. I need a good black loafer and black baby doll shoe. Finally got the perfect black pump in 2023 (red bottom, leather with a low heel). Had to redo all my heels recently because I was no longer into super high heels that aren’t comfortable so still have to add a classic black barely there to the closet as well.

Great tips. I am in the mood to reset because I am slightly bored and trying not to buy the same kinds of things that I already have. I will say that quality undergarments are very much a game changer and she be prioritized. Sometimes we can feel uncomfortable in our clothes or not wear them because the undergarments are just not hitting.
