When a review starts with "I don't know how this plays, but this is what I've gathered", you know you've got a winner on your hands.

Thanks for the Sky Towers review and the feedback. Noted. Every game that I've sent Tom has been rated better than the last. To celebrate this there is 30% off your first order from the publisher's website.

For Eppi, you can use little pieces of tape to hold the stickers in place. Just enough to hold it, but not so much it’s hard to remove. I played all the way through using this system and it worked. Then, I was able to reset it.

Eppi should have used vinyl stickers, like we have had in kids toys for over fifty years.

5:44 Sometimes publishers don't include words on cards because that would require translation. It's easier to translate a rule book then it is to change each individual card. Iconography can help when it's well implemented though.

Thanks for the comment. In this case, Sky Towers can be customized to help players of all skill levels enjoy the game. As players learn and master the game, add more card effects and bonuses to keep the game interesting and appropriately challenging. So having the effects on the card would be confusing if they were not in play. As for the other negative Tom mentioned, the stealing of bonuses, can be prevented by blocking. And blocking can be prevented by certain card effects. So it all works out well in the end.

TIP re: Eppi -- when I was playing Cantaloop I used double sided tape -- just a tiny piece and it was easily removable, did not leave residue on the page or the card.

To be fair... My game group says "yoink" whenever we steal a chip from the other in Splendor Duel. :)

I'd just stick the stickers to transparency sheet pieces - my solution to legacy games.

You're in trouble when Tom's description of the game is literally 'I'm not 100% sure what this does...' XD

Eppi seems like something I'd have been obsessed with as a kid

I'm hoping Dice Tower will eventually review Battletech Encounters (push your luck dice game), even if it's just a short review like these. I'm curious to see their opinion. Looking at other videos, it feels like the players mostly take turns playing a solo game, and I'm not sure that appeals to me.

Those images in Classified are definitely ai generated, and they don't look good.
