Peace my man. Africa IS where civilization started. History bears witness to this. And the reason much of Africa (not all of it) is messed up now is because of the long history of the Western World (Europe & America) coming in and messing things up. Study the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade and Imperialism (Scramble for Africa) especially to understand the conditions that exist on the continent today. Westerners as a collective are responsible for Africa's degradation - and really the degradation of the whole (so-called) Third World. Also, for the 2nd question you had, the study of genetics has proven that the genes of black people are dominant. A black man & woman can give birth to any color of baby, even white, but a white man & a white woman cannot give birth to a black baby. This is where all different colors of people come from; Black people, who were the first human beings on the planet. Modern scientists bear witness to all this too. However, I want to make it clear that the 5% does NOT teach that black people are "better" than anybody just because their black. All people are equal in terms of our due rights as human beings regardless of color and all deserve to be treated with equal respect & dignity. Peace.

You are a Muslim that understands Muhammad is the last messanger, as am I. The NOI is an african american group that uses the teachings of Islam "Muhammad's power/drive/structure" to bridge the knowledge and financial hardships of african Americans in the Us. It's isn't Sunni Islam and should not be grouped together. Many African Americans separated from the NOI became sunnis. Money, violence, and too many books were created in regards to God. If you really point parrallels this is very much like black scientology. Scientology was probably built to combat this movement/belief. It's a mixer of guruism, what we know as devil worship, and masonry. These are complex religions/movements that are really "Here" in America. From my sight I can't see that they belive in heaven or hell... only a mission, rules/law, and code. I think if you do a little research into their origins, you may gain some understanding as to why they use the words they use. I can tell things are a little less overt than you may be used to. For example, when they say "god" and "allah," are they referring to the Judeo/Christian/Islamic god? Not exactly. When they say Mecca and Medina, are they referring to Saudi Arabia? Not at all. There's HEAVY use of symbolism in their nation. You can google a lot of this.

Are we not God like though? We were made in his image, we create life, we take life, we show mercy, we show justice. I guess I never get mad at people when they say that they are God becuase I can see how they've made the connections to how we could be an extension of the most high. All 5% that I've ever heard always say that they are gods who praise the Most High God; which is a bit different than all out blasphemy. As a Christian I belive that God has come down from the heavens and become one with me now which could make me a god in a sense, but even I know that I am not the Most High God of the universe who oversaw all creation.
