In this video I show you five of my favorite symmetrical scales that I use in my playing. Symmetrical scales are great in terms of visualization and sound since they repeat in their patterns and structure. I hope you find this lesson useful and the scales inspiring to use in your own playing.
The five scales we take a look at in this video are: diminished H/W, diminished W/H, augmented, whole tone, Messiaen mode 3.
(Sorry for the audio dropout at the last part. My DAW didn't record the sound so I had to use the built in microphone of the camera.
