As a fan since the first ever game (makes me feel old now) i am honestly so excited for this and one of the best factors is Mathew Lillard as Afton, actually just having Mathew in this is going to be epic even if he wasn't Afton. I am rather disappointed they didn't keep in the original creepy dot eyes the animatronics had in all the games but the red still works for the most of it, just less creepy now in my opinion which is kinda sad as fnaf at least the first handful of games were horror games. But either way im excited to see my childhood be turned into a movie i will be in cinema with my popcorn ready!

When they are red they are being controlled by afton/vanessa in security breach when afton in vannys body controlled the animatronics but the black and white Dots are when the souls are in control and i still think we Will see the OG eyes

it’s to reference the lore behind the game. When the animatronics are under William Afton’s control, their eyes are red. but when they are under their own soul’s control, that’s when their eyes are black with the bright white dots in the middle. It’s all about symbolism and honestly it’s a very important detail

After being a fan for like 2 or 3 years I’m finally witnessing the movie ty Scott for everything

not one of the superfans of the game that know every single detail but i remember my brother when he was in his gaming phase sitting me down and explaining the whole thing about fnaf to me, showing me videos on youtube about it, teaching me every character's name, making me watch as he played while trying to get a reaction out of me and honestly i can't wait for this movie i can only imagine how the hardcore fans are feeling

I love the red eyes because in security breach, the animatronics had red eyes because they were being controlled by Springtrap, or William Afton. And because of the purple lighting in the poster (since purple is symbolism for William), it’s easy to say that they could easily be controlled by him in this new movie. Maybe we will get the soul controlled eyes for characters in the future. 😮😮😮(Thanks for all the likes and comments!!)

I've been soo into the lore of fnaf that once in my age, my yt recommendation are all related to fnaf stories behind the secrets of the lost childrens and the background of each animatronics from 1-4, Way back before it peak around 2014-2015, And rumors of it having a movie is more than 5 years, And way back before it since many people are making clickbaits about it, now its a reality People of the community, don't make this movie go to waste, And props to Universal for making our childhood came true.

And the amazing thing is, Josh really blended in and turned out really well as Michael Afton, I've waited so many years for this!

This movie is gonna break the box office, calling it now.

If you read this, Please don't change the animatronics eyes, just need to explain to the "Real FNaF Fans" that the red eyes are accurate to the lore, it's been explain in the books. Please don't listen to people that says that just because it's not like in the game, they are not Scott.

If you zoom in on Freddy's eyes. At 0:31 you can see that they have different colors Scotty boy always has something up his sleeves

In my mind, Red eyes are good, but if you'll think about the mechanisms. I think, red eyes mean that they're in different mod, like "security mode", and its quite logical cuz every pizzeria suppose to keep everything safe and calm

@@demonking3673 then they coulda chosen a more subtle way to portray the red. maybe a darker more rich red woulda worked better, or only having pupils of the characters be red. because rn it looks really childish and cheap it seriously just completely takes all the intimidation and instead makes them look like clowns.

The man who has to unmask monsters is now putting masks onto dead kids accidentally creating monsters (he stuffed the kids into the suits so its more than just a mask but shush)
