don't get pressured into buying the shiniest new toy. I'm an electrician and yes all my tools are Milwaukee but the basic brushless impact with a 2.0 battery is more than enough to drive little screws all day. I work circles around the guys that brag about their newest fuel with a 5.0 battery.

You might consider the compact 3.0 high output batteries. They're small, light, and alot of ZING to them. That high output architecture is real. I have an m12 5.0 high output and i tried it in my m12 compact driver drill.....WOW what a difference. I was laughing hysterically afterwards. Like an angry chihuahua that's brave enough to pizz on a big dogs leg.😁

I work as an hvac installer and use a m18 with 3.0 that runs all day. Really depends on what you do and from what i see electricians work really only calls for a smaller impact

As someone who uses the rotary hammers on concrete on the regular, I highly recommend any M18 battery that says "High Output" on them. They enable your tool to work at full potential, its no lie. I use non-HO batteries trying to punch through the wall, and the tool falters and stops 10 seconds in. When I slap even the smaller high output battery on (3.0AH), it powers through like a champ.

I think it all depends on your application. I'm in the automotive field and use the m18 brushless and my dad uses the m12. I don't like changing the battery all the time and that's why I use the 18. My dad likes how light the 12 is with the 2.0s, as far as power they feel about the same to me.

I’ve had a lot of issues with that super sawzall’s oscillating/reciprocating movement. I mostly use it to cut cast iron and other hard metals and the chuck gets obliterated. Every time I switch blades it’s a struggle. The Vick release system on the standard sawzall is way better.

I have a Milwaukee super sawzall from the mid-90s that is an absolute beast I don't believe they've made anything bigger or powerful than this one yet. It has 3,200 strokes per minute and 1 1/4 inch stroke. With adjustable orbital action. Comes with those plug-in chords unfortunately I have an older one that has a three chord 50 ft long cord which is incredible to have but the new ones don't come with a grounding peg so they can't use that on this particular saw because it only has 2 prongs. One of these days I'll probably pick up a 50 ft 2 prong cord but they're not exactly cheap.

  • @georged1085

I have the gen4 m18 impacter. Its been good so far and is stupidly overpowered. One of the few milwaukee tools i don't regret buying. The m18 framing nailer is one i absolutly do not regret one bit. God...its nice not dragging around air hoses and the fallout moisture compressors have.

They need to stop calling those “hammer drills”. They are a joke trying to drill concrete. If you want to drill concrete get a real SDS hammer drill. The Milwaukee 12V is the Beez Kneez.

I’m a union apprentice carpenter and the rear handle saw is garbage, we have all Milwaukee tools at our training center, do not waste your money on that saw, none of the tables are square from the factory, the plastic they’re made with feels like a nerf gun and they have a speed sensor that turns the saw into a brick if the blade isn’t at max rpm when you sink it into wood TERRIBLE saw for a rough carpenter, if you want a good skill saw get the 36v makita or 60v dewalt
