Ethel Ennis is often called the First Lady of Jazz here in her hometown of Baltimore. In today’s Five Minute Histories video, discover how during her illustrious music career Ennis worked to give back to her city through free concerts and her unique jazz club, Ethel’s Place. To help us tell Ethel’s life story, we are delighted to have two special guests for this video-Dr. Raynetta Wiggins-Jackson and Earl Arnett, Ethel’s husband.
