They have been my favorite band for years. I am a 62-year-old grandma and I'm actually going to see them in St. Louis this August. Can't wait. Have never been able to see them before going with my daughter!!!!!!!!

After serving in combat and trying to find comfort coming home from war and what I know now about PTSD and Depression I listened to this song over and over again because I was in my room with black out curtains in darkness not wanting to get out of bed,barley eating and using the bathroom, not wanting to interact with anyone. I wondered if the sun would ever rise. This song motivated me to (TRY) things have gotten much better but I still have bad days and I just listen to the song (WORDS) to motivate me again. BTW my awesome wife got me tickets to see FFDP IN VEGAS IN SEPTEMBER 2024

Damn, Ivan!! It's like you put the words that were in my head to music! I've often wondered when the sun would shine as I have been delt one Hell of a life. I've loved many and lost too much, especially three years ago when I lost both my Mom and husband within days of each other. The night this song was released, I was sleeping in the worst recliner in a hospital because of my Dad being ill. Two weeks later, he unfortunately succumbed to his illness. To anyone reading this... Please do not take your loved ones for granted. Cherish them, because they can be gone in an instant.

These lyrics hit the spot so correctly it hurts. But it also makes focus "on the sun rising" realised it does, just a bit covered by dark clouds, some days there are less clouds others there are more. So the sun is there, some days we aren't able to push them away
