Love this song and video. I worked 14 years of patrol before I got out. I know of two from my academy class that are no longer with us. One in the line of duty in a crash and one by suicide. I got out because I was just tired. Stayed away from law enforcement for 10 years but something called me back to it. I knew when I came back I didn’t want to be back on the streets and old sports injuries made me feel like I would be a liability so for the past 7 years I have been in dispatch. I’m older and a helluva lot grayer than 95% of the people here. Law enforcement has changed so much in the time since I got out.

Been doing this for 18 1/2 years. Just got recently promoted, because I was tired of chasing kids.. As a Dispatcher you are our life lines when we are our patrolling, so thank very much ❤

From one Sgt. In Indiana to another stay safe and thank you for doing this song !! 2 months out of the academy 24 years ago I dodged a few bullets for real .. I'm still getting everyday with that fire and still working nights ..it's who I am just like you brother ..Great reaction and keep in the fight !

My dad, grandpa, and ggpa were/are cops, my brother is emt/firefighter as well as my sisters spouse, my husband, dad, both grandpas, all ggpas were military. I cried at this as well. Its such a real thing that happens, even in military. They stopped doing siblings or the city in the same groups for a reason.

I know I haven’t been on here for a while… however what an amazing reaction to this song… Every Morning I wake up and I praise God for the Exceptional People he has created and chosen to serve and protect so many of those that are unable too, or just simply choose not too, be it out of fear, or they have lost someone they loved while serving and protecting idk? 🤷‍♀️ However, I do understand the pain, fear, from Children not fully understanding where’s Mom and/or Mom/Dad at? My niece was very young when my sister was overseas during “Desert Storm”. I actually still have the front page of the Tampa Bay Tribune where myself, my niece, and my sister were all hugging and crying that she was one of our Soldiers returning home in person rather than in a Flag Covered coffin… oh my broken heart 💔🙏 I’ll keep this short, “if possible “. I have the utmost respect for those who run into the danger, rather than running away from it! Thank You sir for your service and your families Sacrifice Blessings 🙏🇺🇸
