The patch is to protect one eye for the dark inside of the ship. The other eye is for being in the sun. Switching the patch

pirates actually wore eyepatches on one eye because that way one eye would be used to the dark under deck and one would be used to the light above, so the pirates could switch the eyepatch to the other eye when they went above or below deck, wich is a crucial time saver in a life or death situations.

Captain Quackers is definitely my favorite! One because ducks are my favorite, and two because pirates and three because he’s the best of all worlds!! ❤️❤️ great job loon!

Use tape tightly wrapped around the end of the string or use lighter it should singe the edge enough to make it hard and fuse together. Capt. Quackers is adorable...I mean spooky piraterrific!

Hot tip (literally) if your dealing with frayed ends of string try holding the end near a lighter or candle! Just be careful not to hold it too close, better to start off too far from a flame than too close

So the material you put on Carol the one over the felt, is actually great material to make a tutu on. With the different height holes just do two rows of them and it will be a much fuller looking tutu. Just if you decided to not give up tutu making quite yet.

So cute and creative idea without messing with the actual plush. I haven't been able to get any squishmallow at our five below for a couple years now since they became more popular. The one I did get was worth it though because it was a cute axolotl.

Heyy! I didn't know Aldi had the flamingo scissors! I steal em all the time from my fiancé, they come in handy for alot of stuff, work super well, unlike all the other tiny scissors. Good purchase 10/10 🙌🏻

When you're working with any kind of string made of the same material as shoe strings you can always burn the end with a lighter and tamp it out so it's melted and doesn't fray. Probably less bulky than trying to hot glue it. 🤷‍♀️
