The piece showcases our diversity through honoring the African-American composer, Duke Ellington, marking a collaboration between the Jazz, Wind/Percussion/Bras and Orchestral areas within the School of Music.
Th entire concert was originally performed on February 7, 2020 at "The Wertheim" (Wertheim Performing Arts Center), located at Florida International University School of Music in Miami, FL. Featured as a celebration of Black History Month.
