Andrew had her kidnapped he knew about Mellie being raped by her father in law while Fitz was running for governor and didnt tell him cause he wanted Mellie for himself thinking she would leave Fitz eventually never did. He thought Andrew was his friend and just like everybody in his life has betrayed him.

It is completely different! Andrew had her kidnapped, held hostage, abused, sold on the black market, and used her to control the president. She also ha been suffering with ptsd. She snapped because he just threatened to kidnap and sell her again. I probably would have snapped to. And yes I know Fitz was almost killed but he didn’t have ptsd and he killed her because he still wanted to be president. He lost control of his anger because he wanted revenge, he did don’t have ptsd like Olivia.

He had his "crew" kidnap Olivia and kill the old lady next door. They did not imply that she was assaulted in any way while being held but it's definitely possible. She was then sold like a slave to the highest bidder. Still this was not enough for this greedy SOB. He wanted revenge because his coup was unsuccessful and he did not care who got hurt even though he was supposed to be close friends with Fitz and he claimed to love Mellie. He was the SAVAGE and deserved what he got.
