Trekker saddles have adjustable pommel/gullet angle and adjustable panels. I prefer to use the panels for spinal channel customization and use an EDIX 8 pocket pad for saddle balance adjustments to address any conformational challenges the horse has. This video shows positioning the panels at a good "starting point", and talks about how the four main conformation types affect saddle balance (up hill, down hill, flat backed and asymmetrical). It shows how to appropriately adjust the pommel/gullet angle to each horse and then how shimming an 8 pocket pad can be used to address conformation challenges.
As a note, I positioned the panels all the way back on the saddle to make the pommel/gullet angle easier to see. You will want your panels centered under the primary weight bearing area of the saddle (pommel to back of cantle) once you're ready to try riding in your set up.
