Thank you for this review, Peter! I've been following your channel for a few months already, and your insights on fitness and video games are always fantastic. I've been a couch potato all of my life, but your videos have motivated me to start getting more active. Similarly to how you've framed your shiny Pokémon challenges, I've started exercising while playing on my Switch. I got myself a treadmill for Christmas, along with an adjustable table with a portable monitor to which I can connect my Switch to; I've been exercising for one hour daily (although, I'm dividing the time into 2-3 small sessions). Considering my previous sedentary life, I feel proud of my progress. I've been going on for 12 days in a row, and my motivation is growing each day! Seriously, thank you so much, Peter!

You know the Devs do this on purpose. They had this content already ready to go when they released the game. This was done to get more money for the game. All they had to do was add this content to the game and charge a bit more toward the purchase price. I have the game but I won't be buying this DLC at the price you mentioned but, unfortunately a lot of people will. I keep telling everybody you have to speak to these devs using your wallets. As in keep them closed. As long as you keep paying for these DLC's and other microtransactions, they will keep doing this.

Unfortunately it wouldn't surprise me. Voting with your wallet is absolutely the right call. This is way too expensive for the quantity and quality of content included, as I said

in a programmers perspective, I wish it was already ready to go, instead they cheaply sloppily added it on as a separate entity download that is separate from the original game. Its broken and you cant burn calories so it no point getting the new costumes or music. I almost quit this game because of the DLC, it really left a bad taste in my mouth.

I find it insane that they didn't fix stuff like text in some of the text boxes getting cut off, but instead released one of the most overpriced DLC's I've ever seen.

Thanks for taking the hit for us on this one. This definitely does not sound like it['s worth it until there is a steep discount.

Should have been a freebie for early adopters and the release of the physical game.

Pretty much havent touched it since I made this video

It's always difficult with fitness games, because the amount of content is thin enough that you can can experience everything the game is realistically offering in under two hours, but the real investment in making it is developing the whole program of exercises, and charging enough that you feel like you're wasting money if you don't do it. I bought it day one because I've been waiting for it and I do fitness boxing every day, so I'll get enough use out of it, but I do agree it's a bad investment I do think there should at least be better tutorials for the modes, because obviously there's a specific way they want you to punch, judging from how my fastest punches aren't recognised as punches, and the Hundred Blows Rushing Fist can obviously do you a mischief if you get it wrong. Might be good content for the channel, even though that risks mixing messages

I 100% agree it can be difficult, but the content here is more akin to a set of skill games essentially; the theoretical use for the Raoh's mode in a workout in minimal at best. Heart Mode can work as a finisher, or akin to HiiT training, but since its a lot of flailing involved, it doesn't work hugely well. I also agree it could be useful for a set of videos haha! I'll look into it!

All these fun modes still don't have two player option. My spouse & I love to play this game together. Even the basic split screen would have been fine. Is Fitness Boxing become...new age shovelware?

The game is, the DLC isnt

It’s a fun game but this expansion does not seem to be worth the price, to bad 😪. Was also a bit disappointed with regards to the outfit selector when you compare it to the (original) Fitness boxing 2 game. Thanks for the review Peter!!

I totally agree with you. I’m willing to spend money on fitness games,but when I watch the promotional video of this dlc,i’m very disappointment.

Does it at least add a Japanese voice option?

This was a horrible DLC, its it wasnt broken i would be fine. But everything is broken you cant do the punches and you cant get the speed, who tested this trash and gave the ok? Biggest blemish i ever seen for this game, i hope they fix this at the very least.

@@MasterTrainerPeter if it wasn't broken I didn't mind supporting them because of the other games they been working on and the amount of work outs I got out of the original games. I didn't care about the price. But since the dlc is repetitive and pretty much unplayable I now have a bad taste in my mouth I just cannot get rid of. I don't bother to play the dlc anymore.
