The versa 2 also has the watch app. It also has always on display.

Your reviews are objective and helpful. I feel that I am watching an unbiased review. Some of the other reviews look like ads for the products. This review along with your Versa 3 one made my decision making process easier. Very much appreciated.

Great video!!! Love the time thing you have to go back and rewatch certain part of the video (prices etc.) Very helpful!

A lot of the things you discuss regarding the Versa 2 and 3 are not correct. I have the Versa 2 and it does track your oxygen, it allows you to change your clock faces right on the watch, you can store up to 5 different faces on the watch itself. I can also talk to text my responses right on the watch, not just the yes or no standard responses. I see that this video is from October 2020, but the Versa 2 since its updates this year, it does almost everything the Versa 3 does. You should do a new review.

I found my versa 2 at a yard sale for $5 and it was brand freaking new it works perfectly and everything I love it quite a lot.

Original Versa can also switch watch faces on the device. that feature came on when the they turned on the Spo2 features, I believe.

Thanks. Excellent review. Very thorough. I was planning to get the FitBit Sense mostly for the sensors, but it may not be worth the high price tag especially if I have to pay to for the subscription to get more detail information. Since I can't download my own music and I don't care for the built-in GPS I may consider the least expensive Versa 2. I am also going to check Samsung Galaxy Active and Garmin Vivoactive. So many smartwatches out there...it's difficult to make a decision...especially when it will be my first smartwatch. Thanks again for the great review. I will check your other reviews.

i have the versa 2 and just bought the versa 3 for my mom. After comparing the 2 watchs the versa 2 is better, it does almost the same things, the button is really usefull , i can download music, it has the always on display ans you can change the watch face . For me the biggest change is the gps on versa 3. Both me and my mom have iphone and i can only see all my notification, with the versa 3 my mom can answer calls . i like my versa 2

Yes, the biggest difference between the versa 2 and 3 is the GPS. If the GPS isn't a big deal, then purchasing the Versa 2 can save you some money.

I have the Fitbit Sense and it definitely links to my Apple phone text and phone calls. As far as I can tell pretty accurate on stats and info. No complaints at all with it. I did purchase the monthly premium package of $9.99 . Happy with content there as well. Battery life varies between 4 to 6 days for me. No regrets purchasing. Also purchased the Versa 2 and with the updates it has a lot of what Versa 3 has. I paid $100 brand new and for the money best deal. Happy with it as well.

I was going to say the same thing about the Versa 2.

My fitbit versa 2 has always on display and you can change over clock faces too 🤔 and I can reply to messages via the microphone too

To load music onto Versa 2 you have to go through app on computer, not phone. It still works I added more music to mine the other night. I really want to upgrade to Versa 3 but I love that I can have my own music on there.

The Versa 2 does allow downloading of MP3s from a computer

Great video …. Versa 2 sounds like just what I would need.

I have just returned my Sense because the vibration was too light for the Alarm and Timer feature. I have missed too many morning wake ups as a result of not feeling the vibration. I used to have the Versa and Versa2 which I could wake up to very easily. Have you any feedback or advice about this on the Versa 3 and the Charge5? I need to replace the sense with one of these because I have given away my old Versa and Versa2. Thanks for a really good review.

My Versa Lyte just died after only 4 months! Thankfully, still under warranty so I have option of choosing a free replacement versus paying for an upgrade. Any reports of issues with longevity of these devices? The Lyte was glitchy. I’m thinking of getting the Versa 3. Did I hear you correctly that you can’t get phone and message alerts with an iPhone?? I was able to get alerts with the Versa Lyte

The versa 3 band Is a button that you push to pop off the bands you can change it how long does that last because I'm the charge I had that plastic would come unglued and I was buying bands every 3 months. I have been using my versity to for almost a year and from the reviews I have seen on the 3 the updates to it are great but I still think that having the button on the versa to having a cloth band and the pin hooks that actually hold the band in are much more reliable

Think I'm just going to to wait for the fitbit that comes after the sense.

I have versa 2 and battery last me 3-4 days it’s amazing. Ready to upgrade.

I accidentally wore my Versa 3 in the shower (first time). The screen popped off and the watch is now dead. Need a new smartwatch asap and I’m debating going with the Sense this time.

It really depends on what's most important to you in using the smart watch. The Versa 3 has the built in GPS meaning you can leave your phone at home and the watch will track your location and distance when running. The Versa 3 also has the built-in mic and speaker so you can take phone calls right from your wrist (but your phone still needs to be nearby) and the Versa 3 works with google assistant. If those features aren't that important to you then go for the Versa 2.

The microphone is in versa 2 also and the call function really dosen't matter to me because to answer the call on my watch my phone should be nearby and if my phone is nearby then I can just get a notification and pick up my call from the phone. I really don't even care about google assistant since the versa 2 already has alexa and there is no point in having two voice assistants at once. Thanks a lot for clearing that up. I will definitely go for versa 2.

Just thought I would comment on something you said the versa 3 has got the capability to do the ECG where you hold it at the boat corners it also has the capability of downloading a face for your phone with a photograph of a personal from your gallery on the face of a watch you can touch for sensitive points for different information top-left top-right bottom-left bottom-right different shortcuts and it also toes do the hand over the palm reading you can also listen to your music phone calls in and receive you can also receive emails and messages ask Google any question or Alexa and I've even strained KZread Fitbit versa 3 is the one I'm referring to

So shooting the dark that you read every comment. I have hEDS and POTS. So my heart rate goes 30 bpm higher than the average heart rate min and my joints are loose cause of faulty collagen. I'm trying to decide on a watch that will be for the phone track my bpm, and if I pass out detect a fall. Which would you currently recommend looking into? I just started looking.

I had an Ionic Fitbit and loved it. Unfortunately it died after 6 years of daily use... it was amazing... now I have to buy a new fitbit to replace it. I appreciate the comparison and I think I'm going to go with the versa 3. Are you familiar with the ionic? Do you think the versa 3 would be a good like replacement?

Mine just died too. It was almost three years old. We had the two year warranty, but since it’s expired, I need a new one now. Well, not need, but do want to get a new one. Fitbit offered a discount so might just go with the Sense. I’m just wondering if there is another one coming out soon and should wait a bit. How often does Fitbit release new ones?

@@NancySanchez.ibdr4u They release every few years I believe. I had the Surge prior to the Ionic and I bit the bullet and got the Sense. Loving it so far, a bummer about the music but going to give Pandora's Premium free trial a try.

Fitbit Sense is $50 more than Fitbit Versa 3, and a difference of $50 more on Fitbit Versa 3 vs. Fitbit Versa 2. Even though I don't need a lot of features on Fitbit Sense, $50 is so small difference to pay to get the latest Fitbit. I own a Fitbit 3 but I wanted to use Fitbit to answer my phone/text using my Fitbit so I am debating whether to buy Fitbit Sense or Fitbit Versa 3. Cost doesn't matter.

Finally got it to stop counting knitting stitches as steps.

Yes, I would think google buying Fitbit would use the technology from Fitbit and improve on it maybe integrate it more with Google's products in the future.

What would you think would be best for me with my phone? I saw the empower smartwatch one on the Drs TV show but I missed it. Lol

I only made it 16 minutes through this. Versa 2 does have the always on feature. It also has the ability to store up to 5 clock faces (Really though, does anyone ever change them after they find one they like?). I'm not sure if he is going off information of a very early review of the Versa 2, or just trying to hype the 3 and Sense, but at the point where there were two easily verifiable inaccuracies, I gave up on taking any of the information as accurate.

Thanks for pointing out the always on display on the Versa 2 Robert. You are correct. Also the ability to store up to 5 clock faces was something that was added with a software update by Fitbit to the Versa 2. In previous videos I've done on this channel such as my Versa 2 videos and Top Versa watch face videos you can see me showing how to change watch faces on the versa 2 without having the ability to store up to 5 clock faces. I'm glad that feature is now available.

Hi, thanks for watching! You can't turn off any of the apps on the watch, but you can uninstall any apps that you're not using. You can do this by going into the Fitbit app your phone or device. Once in the Fitbit app, click on your account icon (in the upper left corner of the dashboard), then click "Apps" and find the app you don't want. Tap on that app and then look for the "Uninstall" button. You can tap that to uninstall the app. The next time you sync your watch to your device the app you uninstalled will not be there.

How is the screen resolution/ quality on the sense vs the 3? I’m torn between the two

The screen resolution looks great in my opinion. Both the Fitbit sense and Versa 3 both have a 1.58-inch display with a 336 x 336 pixel resolution.

I already have a Garmin but being as Fitbit sent me a discount code. I just bought the Fitbit Versa 2 for $ 120. My Garmin Fenix 6 has GPS so do not need it on both devices. In the UK the Versa 3 is $120 more then what I paid for the Versa 2 with discount

I haven't personally had the chance to review the Galaxy active 2. However it all depends on what you are most interested in with a smart watch. Both feature the ECG option. Fitbit offers the Fitbit community, sleep tracking in addition to its activity tracking, up to 6 day battery life, and a bunch of other features. The Galaxy active 2 would definitely be a cheaper option though.

@@TinkerForward I did so more research yesterday and it looks like the ecg on the galaxy active 2 doesn't work with other android phones. Samsung told me it would only work with a Samsung phone. Now I'm leaning towards the Fitbit Sense but will wait for Black Friday sales. Thank you for your video!

On the Versa 3 can Android users answer calls and voice reply to texts? Also can snapchat be accessed on it? Thanks!

Waterproof.... Just don't take a bath with it. The heat will cause it to pop apart. Oh and it seems to not like running in the background. I can't seem to use Alexa or find my phone unless the app is running up front

My original Versa from 05/18 has finally kicked the bucket, the face of it popped off. It was my 2nd fitbit product. My extended warranty was obviously past so fitbit offered me a discount on my next fitbit product and I am seriously considering the Sense.

I had the original, too, then got the 2 for an upgrade. My fiancé bought both for me as a Christmas gift two years in a row, as I work in a machine shop and beat them up…. I need a new one lol I’m thinking about the Sense. I already purchased the yearly membership so now that my birthday is coming in two days I think I’m going to pick one up for myself.

I saw tinker at 14:51. I am currently trying to decide between a Versa 3 or an Apple Watch 3. I use an iPhone. My current exercise is walking. Any advice?

It seems to track well from my initial use. I can monitor my heart rate when I'm working in my office vs. when I'm out for a run and my heart rate is elevated, it indicates that. I'd like to test it side by side with a heart monitor chest strap to check its accuracy in more detail in the future.

Sorry, unfortunately I'm not sure. You could try calling fitbit's customer support phone number and asking them.

I had the Versa 2. I got the Sense because my Versa 2 wasn't compatible with my phone. I must say that between the Versa 2 and the Sense, I love the Sense more. With having the Sense; you get a 6 month free trial of Fitbit Premium.

A question, what phone do you have or why isn't compatible with your phone? I'm thinking about buying a versa but if isn't compatible with my phone then I wouldn't do it

@@luznadiacruz2449 I have the Samsung Galaxy A51 as my phone. My Versa 2 wouldn't read the Bluetooth. My Sense works like a charm with my phone.

@@luznadiacruz2449 You can still use it without having the premium subscription. The information isn't quite as detailed is all.

Is interesting how i can watch this video at 2x speed and still understand fully what Jeff is talking about. Very extensive video indeed.

14:53, I love my versa 2 but it went weird today. Battery died completely, that never happens, now it is blinking off and on, the battery is at 50% after 30 min and it vibrates randomly.

My Versa just died but I've had it since 2019. A couple of weeks ago the screen went on me. Then while I was at work Tuesday night it went off and would not come back on even though it had close to a full charge. I was able to get it started up again but it went off again and never came back on. I just bought the Versa 3 yesterday and I'm trying to see how I like it. So far I like the texting capabilities

My Versa 2 just started power cycling yesterday, as well, with about a 75% charge. It was out of nowhere, working fine in the morning just started vibrating every 60 seconds. Customer care couldn't figure it out so they gave me the option of a free replacement or 50% off a new device. Trying to decide which route I go now. Might be worth it to you to give them a call!

In case I miss it or stop paying attention....is there a function that keeps track of bicycle riding? :-)

Under exercises there is a bike exercise that times your biking, tracks distance and speed.
