For everyone who is watching this video because you have the same question. Yes, it is the heart monitor, if what you are looking for is how to stop it from constantly flashing and wasting your batteries, you have to go into the fit bit app on your phone, go to setting and look for heart monitor, which will be set to ON, you can turn it OFF or set it to AUTO. (yes, years late but I'm surprised no one in the comment actually put the answer and only pointed out the obvious that it is a heart monitor...)

He knows it is the heart monitor mine was not blinking but when I put it in water it started blinking ,the Fitbit still works good.

The green lights are for the hart rate monitor. Have you not noticed that 😆😆😆

It's for your pulse on your wrist.

Mine was doing the same so i called fitbit and there replaceing it since its still under one yr warranty.

Same with mine I don't know what to do!
