Like Brian, I am a Fisker Ocean One owner. Took delivery early in December and absolutely love it as my daily driver. I have had very few issues and none of them have been remotely significant. Unlike Brian, I was fortunate to get my title and plates sorted within a few weeks of taking delivery. I've gone through my five stages of grief and am solidly in acceptance. I knew the risks going in, I accept those risks, and at this point I'll figure it all out once we know what the future holds. In the meantime, I will continue enjoying the car for as long as I can. I'd also like to echo Brian's comments about the Fisker employees. Every individual Fisker employee I have interacted with has been fantastic and I hope this somehow works out well for them. I've seen some comments here about the solar sky roof. I do think it is something they could have gone without but it does fit the theme of sustainability that is a key concept of this vehicle. From the driver's seat, I don't even notice it. For those in the rear seats, I have only had people say positive things about it.

@@ArbitraryFilmings people who can take 70 grand and give it to a car company that was already a failure once before, is taking a big chance that their 70 grand will be thrown away. The car isn’t worth half of what he paid for it, so I guess only 50 grand was thrown away. The same could be said for many luxury cars as well, but it’s one thing to pay to play on a Bentley, and another thing to do it on a Fisker.

Brian bought Fisker Ocean for enjoyment. As such this car is unique and is perfectly fitted for him as a tall guy to have fun with it. If he would need just a car to get him from point A to B then he would buy a preowned Chevrolet Bolt EUV or Nissan LEAF plus with a larger battery which would provide that hassle free, stress free transportation and lots of fun for someone who drove only ICE basic cars like Toyota Corolla and never tried an EV.

Just remember that Fisker Automotive was never own by Henrik Fisker, he was in a team of partners, and a lot of back luck that were beyond Henrik influence lead to the bankruptcy, that he opposed, but got rejected so he resigned from the board and left. Airbags were only accessible from the only manufacture in Japan and 2009 they would increase production(affected Tesla too), hurricane Sandy took the hole production from Finland, and Valmet failed on quality, don't forget that A123 systems, the battery supplier (was funded by the US government and owned by Chrysler), went bankrupt and Fisker could not put batteries in the cars and had to halt production😢. In 2012 Fisker Automotive was to buy the GM's Wilmington Assembly factory in Wilmington, Delaware, and build the Project Nina a $40.000 hybrid, but the takeover never happened, retooling and upgraded/modernize of the plant was a bigger project than first expected and Fisker Automotive was now running out cash, so bigger government loan was needed than the first granted in 2012, Henrik wanted to, pursuit this path, but not the other board members.

I agree fully. Fisker sold us on this the Every Man's Car. Starting at $37,500. At least you can get a free upgrade to the Ultra for that price now that the company is dire straits. Fisker was clearly targetting the mass market with a cool, affordable, supposedly good for the environment car. The average buyer would have been extremely upset! Some of these privileged Fisker Fanboys that bought the $70,000 Ocean One weren't upset at all and have been trying to defend Corporate the entire time. SMH. The proper baseline in my opinion should have been to simply compare the car to similarly priced vehicles. I am an investor, not a fanboy, and have been critical of their less than truthful practices. The fanboys just brushed aside all of our many concerns. They should have been asking the very same questions some of us did. For that, I feel it was disservice to the community. It was as though they worked for corporate, trying to tamp down expectations. Asking hard questions early would have helped Fisker improve their products and services. We needed those critical reviews, which we did not see for the longest time. Instead, we got a last minute piling-on as the company was imploding while winning awards. This should be a lesson to not only Henrik, but to Ocean Buyers and Fisker Investors to not repeat the same mistakes ever again.

Fisker Ocean is looking much much much better to my eye than Fisker Karma. Why Henry Fisker needed the word Karma just to haunt him down in all his business endeavors? Fisker Ocean has elements of design from all former Ford brands Henry FISKER was involved with Jaguar, Land Rover, Aston Martin. Besides it resembles another Magna built EV Jaguar iPace. Unfortunately it is plagued with many issues common in Jaguar iPace: odd designed parts, uncooked software, compromised luggage compartment. To be saved Fisker Ocean and company has to be entirely bought by a third party which needs to have a factory in the USA, Canada or Mexico since its largest marked is in the USA, not in EU.

This would be helpful and provide some confidence. I own a 2020 BMW i3s REX. You can buy, and I did buy, a usb obd2 cable and I can connect to the cars ECU with my cell phone and program and reset a lot of the cars functions. I am not sure how many cars allow for ECU intervace, looks like a decent amount as when I access Bimmercode on my cell I see a list of cars, of course they are all BMWs. So I am not sure if this ability is limited to BMWs or if there are usb obd2 cables that engage with other manufactures. If Fisker offered this it might help potential customers feel a little more confident that either they or some shops can get into the ECU and program/reset or get access to an new ECU and be able to program it.

Henrique Fisker may be a great product designer, but he is a HORRIBLE CEO (just check the Glassdoor reviews of what it's like to work at his company). It takes a completely different skill set to successfully run a company than it does to design products. And be sure to follow that cash they are generating with the fire sale. I wouldn't be surprised if executive team members are salivating over the thought of awarding themselves some cash bonuses on their way out the door. But HF will walk away from this unscathed and in a few years will be back with a new NEW EV company called HF Automotive that is gearing up to design and launch the Ocean trim of the "HF One" EV. and before the first HF One is produced, he will have designed and prototyped the HF Two, HF Three, and HF Four.

"Great car"...no OG, it is not. I think he's still in the denial stage. The vehicle, even with 2.0, has a myriad of well-chronicled issues. NHSTA has three investigations underway. There are hundreds of used Fiskers for sale with less than 1000 miles. He has lost all of his investment in FSR and now clings to a car he doesn't own. Yet he continues to hold out hope for a buyout. But what exactly would said firm or person be buying? More importantly, who wants to be associated with the Fisker brand? In a recent podcast he said the vehicle "made him feel special". I think that says it all.

Better off if a third party comes with a Google based OS which can be swapped by changing entire CPU of the car. Remember Microsoft Windows was always flawed but from the beginning of internet availability had OTA updates. I never understood Magna, VW, MB, BMW coming really slowly with OTA updates features. The second flaw is proprietary software instead of using Google operating system in the cars the way Geely does in Volvo and Polestar. Partnering with Magana was not a good business idea for Fisker since another Magna produced EV - Jaguar iPace was always plagued with problems.

Henrik Fisker has screwed it up a second time , but for sure it is also a big fault caused also by MAGNA with made in austria and pretending not to have seen what was coming up cause the faults were known for a long long time as a manufacturer . Magna must have seen it coming and was not willing to spend money to improve things that had been screwed up cause the usual game of these manufacturers are a cheap entry price and make the money with every single change on parts. When Fisker changed a part only Magna could deliver or the supplier and both will try to make profit from a change or mistake Fisker had made to make the profit from that part they had not made with their first supplier contract. Suppliers are living from those developement changes and from hopefully increasing demand . No more chances for them. But they will not pay on their own for improvement if the developement faults were caused by FISKER. Fisker owns the products, maybe the tools and a lot of air cause at the end they have no plant and what not. The developement is done and nothing left at the end, there is no big pile of patents and assets cause there are only 4000 cars inventory left and those have a homologation for whole EU cause if there is one for 1 country then you have it for all countries. The price cut has not happened in the EU, therefore no one will buy here anymore until prices will be cut too. At the same moment the new Oceans or 2024 will not sell at all cause those who might be interested in the US will also waiting for a price cut. Who wants to buy that hull with a brand of no value cause reputation is bad? Magna build the car, knows the car - but most likely will never start a business based on Fisker reputation with a new or upgraded car. At the end you might be able as a group of magna car owner clubs to get access to the major supplier that will try to sell their inventory sooner or later and maybe manufacture them for the future to cause Fisker is not vertical integrated.

I get it: you got ripped off and have trouble dealing with it. Could have happened to me: I almost ordered one. But GET A GRIP: it's over. Had to stop watching after 12 minutes: there's just so much denial I can take.

I mean, I’m sorry not to repeat myself but again neither one of you mentioned the exit of the CEO and the CFO and that’s the most important part for this company to stay alive. You have to get rid of those two individuals and neither one of you ever mentioned that like you’re scared to say that don’t be scared to say that that’s the only way survives is that the CEO and his wife And his bratty little daughter Natasha they have to go nepotism hast to end that is the only way Fisker survives and that’s why I’m shocked neither one of you mentioned that

Why don’t we just get straight to the point and say that the CEO in the CFO have to go this company cannot continue with those two individuals running the company. The only reason they run it is because the company bears their last name but there’s too much nepotism these two individuals do not want to give up power, as long as they hold those position, the company will go bankrupt and it will never come back because those two individuals have no idea how to run a publicly traded company
