Removing invasive plants (such as privet) is a big part of creating a native plant habitat at Spirit Tree Farms in NW Georgia. Using a bent-handled metal Fiskars shovel, I developed a pop-pull-shake-toss method to clear out privet from an area I hope to turn into a tree sapling nursery.
