I got an X10 recently, nice to see what it can take. If it breaks as in your test it still would be possible to put a wooden stick inside the hollow handle and continue to use the hatchet. Or to glue the two pieces together after sliding a stick inside the two pieces. ( I hope I explained understandable, my english is weak...) Thank you for the test. 👍👍👍

I did that; 8mm rebar steel all the way to the axe head, filled with epoxy glue. A bit on heavy side, but nigh indestructible 😁. Still stock unbroken handle. Keep mine for longer camping trips and kindling processing. For price, hard to get better one. Love it

Thanks a lot JoeX! As I said for the X7, I'm really impressed by how tough these Fiskars are. Under normal wood working/processing circomstances, there is no way one can break them. It's even more impressive considering their low price.

Interesting would have been to jam it inside a log and see if you can lean into it to break it(more like normal use when trying to pry a piece of wood apart) however seeing when it broke...i don't think that just by trying to pry with it it would have broke. Nice!

That's about 200 overstrikes on a metal pole. Now that's very impressive. And the standing on the handle also. Amazing. It did better than I expected. It is crazy tough, I knew it was tough. But it has passed my expectations. 15:54 killing zombie's 😂🤣 zombie killing machine. Well yeah, agreed, the guys of ZGB , Zombie Go Boom should have taken this harchet to their Ivan head. Instead of the Schrade hachtet that had quite a few breaking when chopping wood. Which it is made for in the first place after all. And which is way harder on the handle than hitting a skull with it. Excellent video btw. 👍👍👍👍👍 👌👌👌👌👌

thanks, this fiskars is pretty cool, and very lightweight! i also thought that it will break much earlier! i would want this hatchet with a spike like on the cold steel trench hawk, that would be very goog vor Zombies!! and more durable like the handle on the Trench, i am glad you liked the video, it was made out of "ok, i am not sure what i will do" -Style!!

@@joex The only thing you might have done before taking it to the metal pole, is hacking into the car door or something like that 😁. This is now one of my most favorite video's done by you. I'm a bit of a fan of the Fiskars. Fiskars and Mora are a great couple to have on you. Mora for smaller slicing/cutting tasks, the Fiskars to do the bigger stuff. Low price, excellent performance. A spike is excellent for zombies yes, but maybe the axe is even better. Have a look at ZGB video's where they use the axe and hatchet. The axe blade goes into the skull easily. No effort at all. Axes are not the fastest of all weapons. But do they have power ! 😁😎 Robert the Bruce was very good with his axe.

@@joex Hollywood movies are too often far from the reality. Too bad. Robert split the skull of an English knight right through his helmet with an axe. He was a strong man. The X7 is a great little tool. The X10 would have a little more impact given the heavier head. Mora Companion carbon I like a lot, along the Mora 711 , and the Mora Bushcraft Black. All carbon. Do you fly for your job? ZGB is cool. Lately not much happening. they used to be entertaining. Yeah the girl was nice. But one girl , Kathy, died in a traffic accident .
