You should have filled the stone chamber with water. And roll the knife back and forth., not pull it. That's the way to go.

I have the exact sharpener. I roll it back and forth like 30 times with water. But what ever make's it sharp enought is all right. This will give you a sharp enough knive, not a razorblade and that's fine with me, cause i almost lost a finger with knive like that.

You are doing it wrong. You have to go back and forth 8-10 times.
