FISHLAKE National Forest 8K Utah (Visually Stunning 3min Tour)

Larger than all of Utah’s national parks combined, the Fishlake National Forest features pristine lakes, vast stands of quaking aspen, beautifully carved canyons, high mountain peaks, and countless recreational opportunities.
The Manti-La Sal offers world-class recreational opportunities, but it’s also a powerful testament of the importance of protecting Utah’s wild places so they stay #ForeverMighty.
We partnered with Visit Utah who asks travelers to plan and prepare so they can keep these forests Forever Mighty.

To make this film we spent weeks in Utah's Fishlake National Forest during the end of September and beginning of October to try and catch the spectacular fall foliage. We were not disappointed.
Whereas most of Utah's National Parks do not have much in the way of fall foliage (except for Zion & Capitol Reef), the Manti has some of the most breathtaking autumn beauty anywhere in the world.

I was a 12yr old boy fishing from a tin boat on fish lake, Dad was teaching me to fish as we did for tradition every year he hoped to pass on in the family, I can remember it being the only thing to die for when I caught a huge mackinaw lake trout on my line, fishers nearby set course for our tin boat as I reeled it in screaming my head off scared it would get away, just blessed I got to eat it... a real lake trout not farmed... well my Dad I parted ways but I will never forget the moment we shared together, TY great mountain spirits of Fish Lake

So beautiful! Around Richfield, in the Fillmore District, there is some incredible mountain biking & ATV trails through the red red dirt hills. I really want to explore the Beaver District more, especially hiking to the high elevation peaks in that area. Well done on this video.

Not what you typically think of for Utah, but gorgeous nonetheless. Those colors really pop. Do you all do anything in post for that? Or is that raw footage?

What do you normally think of Utah? Because this is what I think of. Course I literally live where this video is so maybe that's why

@@nomadikphoto Redrock comes to mind. I live back east and that always seems to pop up when people talk about Utah. This video opened my eyes to the diversity of that state though!

Thanks so much! Yeah most folks think of red rock when it comes to Utah when the state has incredible forests and mountains as well. We did edit the video with color grading software but only to attempt to match the beauty we witnessed first hand :)

I *believe* it's New Chalk Creek Canyon Road but could be wrong... looking through photos on my phone to try and find location but apparently service out there was non-existent!

This makes me really despise what humanity has done with our world. There are too many people in this country and it’s high time we back off on bringing in more. The eastern part of the country is absolutely packed and it’s just sickening.
