Fishing with Live Suckers and Carp on a Dried Up River!! (Big Bait)

Спорт

Low water is usually good for me, but this year it got tough. Especially when you have good live baits like suckers and carp! We lucked onto a few nice fish this evening. Times like this is why I never take any of those big ones for granted!

I do like a lot of your videos. I have moved around a lot and 40 years ago I use to live in Des,Moines, IA. Two of my children was born at Mercy and the other one was born at Broadlawns hospital and I believe I misspelled broadlawns lol but I am originally from AZ. But now I live in MN. But anyway I just wanted to let you know that at the river you can catch your own shad with a cast net. Here in MN. Also this state does have 10.000 lakes to go fishing. I’m 61 years old and I go fishing for catfish to eat and they are delicious fresh. But I do fish for other fish also but more catfish. Keep making those videos.

One guy here nicknamed Critter is probably one of the best ever. He has a book of his and his dads reports from trips of the past like 50 years or something. He has every water level, moon phase, bait, depth, air/water temps, etc back logged. Won't get no hate from this guy!! Every fisherman foul hooks one every now and then.I strongly feel that when your float drops, you set the hook, foul hook him,no fault of ours, strongly convinced that, that fish hit the bait and is either spitting it back out or we pull it out at the same time we set the hook, catching him outside the mouth or a fin or wherever.. Point being,I think that in certain situations, meaning not casting lures, but still fishing either top or bottom that foul hooked fish are most times fish that are going for your bait but for whatever the reason, the hook slips past the mouth, catching somewhere else on the body.. Man that was alot of splaining!!!! P.S, Another Fine River Certified Production
