Got these thinking they were the slightly larger Panfish floats kzread.infoUgkx_rJB7cli5f1ofPVGgn80S7Yj4vqwq0gU they work just fine. The smaller size lets me carry more in my tackle box, and the 3 color choices are nice for different lighting conditions, backgrounds, etc. They aren't the most durable things in the world. But, as cheap as they are, it's not heartbreaking to lose one or have to replace a worn one. The price on these fluctuates wildly, from about $9 to almost $16. So, time your buy accordingly.

By the way Rocky and Cole....for future reference Wheeler wold life refuge opens all the dewatering pumps every year on February 14. This includes Rock house, Decatur pump house and West Dyke. They will run these pumps until all the water in the back fields that were flood for ducks is dropped. Depending on weather and rain this usually takes two to three weeks. I am sharing this info with you guys so you don't waste time going over there in the future. Cole probably already knows the release schedule for these areas.

I used to creek fish with live bait all of the time. My first hr of fishing was bait fishing, a seine held downstream in some rapids by myself or my fishing partner and the other just turns rocks over while the minnows, crayfish and hellgrammites roll right to the seine and bucket. If you can't catch fish with that bait there are no fish hungry or present,

Bobber fishing is very fun! I have only fished with a bobber and live minnows once in my life just over 45 years ago with my brother. I live in California. We found a nest of good sized Crappie, but they were only under a 2 foot by 2 foot shady area of a tree in the water. My brother and I spied a raft, and he went out to the tree. I was throwing the bobber to him, he would put it in the correct place, and we would catch a fish. He pulled some up to the raft, and then threw them back in, so I could bring them in...LOL! We caught over 20 good Crappie, and my mom made them into fish currie. Another time I went with a group to the Delta, got up early in the morning, and caught myself a baby catfish. Kept it on my hook. Threw it out and got a large catfish. Dragged it in while everyone was waking up in their sleeping bags to see it. I am not sure that one is technically legal? LOL!

Rock house......behind your left shoulder rocky out on that point there are about 6 big stumps right on the break line. If the eel grass is still there it will be hard to fish but those stumps are killer. If the gate is open...keep going up towards Blackwell swamp. There is another culvert about 2 miles up the road. Where that creek comes in is another killer spot. That creek will go up to where another culvert is but normally that area is covered up with people. Back behind Cole where the pump house is you can catch crappie if the water is high enough but it is hit or miss.

I do a lot of steelhead fishing up here in northeast Ohio, and good fishing is predicted on the river conditions more than any other species. At least in rivers. One time when I was a kid we found a spot where a muddy creek was dumping out into the Grand River and created a mud line like that. My old man and I killed it. One and a million day because that damn river is barely ever flowing right. Hence we only fish it a few times a year. Chagrin for life! Be safe, enjoy the fishing our country provides us. Idc what someone believes politically, with what's going on all across the world these days it's easy to appreciate America.🇺🇸🇺🇦🇺🇸🇮🇱
