These jumbo live baits got eaten over and over again! It is crazy what fish will eat in these little urban ponds. Shoutout to Matt from the channel erwinedventures for taking me to a spot like that.
Whether your bass fishing, or catfishing, it is always fun to catch them on jumbo livebait. This day we got lucky and caught some huge gizzard shad that we threw on the hook. We also cut some up as well.
Both methods worked very well, and we caught a good bag of mixed fish. I appreciate you guys watching! Let me know what you wanna see next!

I was fishing for catfish on the Colorado River north of Parker with cut bluegill and caught a 5lb. Bass.

I've had some really good luck at the Gilbert Riparian... huge cats and tilapia... also Freestone park has some good cats that love live sun fish as bait..

If a catfish has your bait, and the line goes slack, but the fish pulls it again. How do you prevent them from swallowing the hook? Cause it seems like every time I catch catfish they always swallow the hook and I always got hooked on. How do you prevent that?
