I like that spot myself. If you start wadding around the river ditch those wadders. The James can get you faster than you’d think. Just get wet.

I wore the waders to keep poison ivy off me while I was going to and from certain spots (not in video).

Yea. Was throwing one of those jumbos, had good luck on the stripers in the past. Especially when the water is muddy.

Great content have you ever considered writing these techniques up in an article with photos and trying to submit it to in-fisherman for their catfish insider magazine? I’ve seen info on jigging for flathead when they consolidate in winter holes but not like this. Curious on what actually turned you on to fishing them like this.
