Was up there all of last week. Stayed at bears den. No musky, a million hammer handle pikes (nothing over 25in) a few bass/walleye.

Is that your typical time of year? I ask because I’ve never seen so many sub 20” pike. We probably Caught 50 that size

@absoluteunitmedia typical ya. Supposedly you can catch a few bigger ones in the fall I was told, but a lot of the regulars said the pike keep getting smaller and the bass fewer

@@pittsburghanglerI’ve been fishing the French for my hole life and there is a lot more small pike but there definitely is a lot of big pike out there no matter the time of year

you stayed at Crane's I see that now. Right infront of the lodge there is great walleye but also that area has been hit very hard last few years. Was there last in sept 2023 and was tough. We cancelled our trip this year to french river and found quieter places an hour north is way more fish. Crazy to see less walleye in your video.

I was also there in (early) September last year. Caught a nice musky. We didn’t fish for walleye
