I really miss being able to do as much fishing as you. My body is too broken to do much nowadays. I understand the excitement of the catch, and really enjoy watching your videos.

The one in the beginning that chased your lure by the dock had to be a hybrid. Looked massive. Amazing video.

I agree... looked too streamlined to be a largemouth. But for some reason when it turned away it looked like a largemouth to me.

Yesss that was an awesome pond! It reminds me of a private pond I used to go to as a kid with my uncle, except it was just all giant bass haha. Wiper are so much fun to catch though thats awesome!

Nice video with some gorgeous fish. I’m still hoping for a bite on the hundreds of dollars worth of 6th Sense baits I bought over 6 months ago. Splashback, Hyperjerk, Quake, L7, Cloud 9, Curve, Magdog, etc. Not even a bite while I’ve caught or at least had bites on similar style baits in other brands. I’ve even caught a couple using Googan crap. I can only guess 6th Sense baits we’re not designed for brackish Florida canal water LMBs closest I got to hooking something was when a Heron came down to take a swipe at the magdog I was walking along the top. Glad it wasn’t hit by an Osprey! You’re always invited to come to my fishing canals here in New Port Richey, FL and let’s see if it’s the baits or my bad fishing skills.

that pond is too good.. sick bro. i hate the lake i live and fish at.. its catch 22.. there is hogs here.. but its such a grind, hours just to pull out a 1.5lb...

Nice pond.. There's a large private farm pond (small lake) between Chester and Rock Hill SC that is owned by this old man who gives me access for bailing his hay. His only rule is that if you catch crappie, you must keep them bc there are so many...place is like a fishing cheat code. I Love it.

Love the wiper fight .I catch them at a local spillway here in ky .My biggest was right at 11lbs I've caught multiple 10 lbs crazy battles with those fish .Awesome video man you never disappoint keep it up .

catching them behind a spillway would be insane man....always crazy battles. these ones honestly didnt fight to their full potential given the super hot water. they seem to battle the best with water in the 60s. and are also way more aggressive then.

Farm ponds always hold some nice fish! I went fishing in this tiny farm pond that is only about 50 feet wide, and there are huge catfish and giant carp there! I was surprised that fish can even live in there!

Pure joy and excitement there man! Yes...I too love farmpond fishing and in my region one would be foolish to ignore the opportunities to fish them for giant fish that they often have. Hybrids stripers? Bruce is the man, and I'm sure you know that! Hey Ty, were those wipers a little lethargic, maybe because of high water temperatures? Or did we just see the ends of those battles...

My honest opinion is you’d be happier with the Royale legend GT. Is what I was using here. Smooth drag and great casting for cranks. If speed is a big deal then the speed demon pro is your best bet

Wild Berry I just ordered new rods from Catch The Fever, & extra gear from Whisker Seeker & Team Catfish to restock; So I’ll be new & improved soon. The bass there are weird! The hit like Wipers, with a strong hit & constant run before you can set the hook well, & they ONLY hit Bladed Jigs or any kind of Ribbon Tail worms being bounced.

If you think those wipers are fun you should come up north to go striper fishing, they get biiiiiiig up here. I'm right on the mass/nh boarder and their biggest are 73 and 51 pounds can catch them miles inland on rivers or out in the ocean too so you can go for several different species in the process

My friend has a pond with wipers. I love chumming them up on top on pellets and catching them in 4lb test. Not exactly sporting but 40 yd runs in freshwater.

@@TyPigPatrol about a minute per pound. Cant do it in July and August as the water temperature isn't conducive to a long fight.

Now that's the kind of stripers. Hybrids That I'm used to in Lake Arthur. Moraine State Park, Western, Pennsylvania The biggest ones we have are about 27 to 30 lb. But all kinds of 10 pounders. All kinds of 15-20 pounders

Where I am from whipers love inline spinners. They go crazy for them.

That was definitely a wiper. I caught one last year out of the Ohio River that was almost 12 lbs and it was an AWESOME fight. I caught him on a cheap Shakespeare baitcaster medium heavy combo that I bought on Amazon for $40 and that cheap rod and reel never missed a beat. It still works mint. I have a Shimano Metanium DC that I paid $450 for and I hate it. I have Curado DCs and Ks, I have expensive Lew's rigs and I've never had a problem with it, JUST the left handed DC models are junk.

yeah, i dont buy reels over 200 dollars any more. KastKing makes them just as well and lasts just as long. I think it was a wiper too!

Hogs my man...you hook hogs. Ty thanks for introducing me to KastKing products. I have never found reels more reliable and durable for such a great price. Keep slaying

@@TyPigPatrol Its a privately owned/managed lake that requires a membership. They do a really amazing job. You'll be on 3-5lbers consistently with 7-9lbs being caught daily. No boat traffic besides fishermen. If you hit Clear Lake you'd already be pretty close.

Had wipers in my 1/2 acre pond, they got huge fast. And fought like hell. I'm sure the people that bought our old house are catching 10 pounders regularly

The only bad thing about Hybrid-Striped bass is the only live about 5 years in a pond and they cost $1.80 a piece. I usually put 250 of them in my pond every 5 years.
