They are nice RC but with time they tend to crack at the bottom after several uses at sea with waves smashing on them. The bottom lock pin and the mount for the propeller shaft cracks allowing water to get in of which it is very hard to fix. It will be nice to have a V3 model with those areas reinforced or have the hull with a thicker plastic to last longer. Also it does not get a full 500mt range I have being dropping my baits around 300mt before I lose the range that can also be improved in a new model. Having said that it is a nice piece of equipment :)

I'm in Australia and there is a dealer here going to be selling them for 2k each. I was thinking about buying one instead of a drone for fishing, but reading your comment about the hull starting to crack after only seven uses doesn't leave me with much confidence lol.

I‘d been wading out chest deep 50m to cast beyond the sandbars/ break. I like this idea but how does the coiled line present the bait?
