At the floating thicket if u cast in the the Lilly pads in front of the dock or around if u have a float rod u will catch unique butterflies near the big tree in the middle of the Lilly pads

if you can get a frog and cast onto the lilies you get some good size fish, unique and trophy zone there

Enjoying the NMS series. I"m not fond of the bowfin either, but when the keepnet is full, I'll release the $60 or $70 bowfin to make room for a $300 bass. Playing on PS where you can exceed the capacity so long as there is room when you catch the fish, so if you are even 1oz. below the capacity you can keep any fish up to the single fish weight max. I don't mind the gar, they're decent $ return on the weight.

Yeah it's a solid plan I just can't right now because I have a stringer so i could hold more fish sooner. When you have a keepnet its a great idea tho.

I was sorta screwing around in the Everglades a few days ago. I wanted to catch a gar for the hell of it. Problem being I was just using a small minnow setup with 8lb line. I think I sat there for around an *hour* in *real life* trying to get it in. I was so frustrated over how long that took. XD Wound up being 13.7lb (6.2kg).

I caught one by using Shiners bait and #6/0 hook, it was 6.4 Gar which also completed part of the Gar Challange which you need to catch one over 5kg

hey zabby, you should try out The Catch: Carp and Coarse! its so fun to play. i bought it a couple days ago because i saw another youtuber playing it and liked what i saw plus fishing planet gets boring after a while.

Seems like there should be some challenge reward for catching every type of fish at each location. On the map page, the fish species menu highlights after you've caught a fish, so the game (PS version) keeps track.

I would wait and do them when you're a bit higher level, it can get expensive traveling around to catch them and if you break some gear getting them it can really set you back. I waited until the late 30's and 40's to do them.

I am in the everglades I have a 5 kg max spining reel and rod and one 5 kg bodem rod both work really well I'm level 24 I have 15k 10 bait coins what shud I do next do you have any advice for me

Good fishing. You are getting closer to Michigan. Are you using a titanium leader on your Jigwinner? Hate to see you lose that walker to a gar or worthless bowfin. Not a cheap lure compared to a jig.
