Fishing Panguitch Lake, Late Spring (Mid June), Utah

The wind is going to howl, lets go fishing. We decided to head back to Panguitch Lake for some trout action and hopefully to run into one of the big Tigers as well as to escape the triple digit heat in the south.
By the time we launch the wind is already steady and we get action as soon as we wet lures. We stick to trolling and we continue to get plenty of strikes and connects. As the day progresses the wind builds as well as the action and the gusts get worse until it is just too much of an annoyance and we decide to head in.
Ultimately, probably one of our best days as far as number of fish caught, lots of Bows and some Cuts. Sadly, we did not encounter a big Tiger...we are just going to have to return!

Heading there in the morning hope weather man is right? Have to admit turned sound down but could tell you had a good time.

this has to be one of your best yet, you got lots of good ones for sure, but you sure got to have big ball to be out there in that rufff stuff, sure looking for the next one, but you both need some rod holders... the old timers are going next thrusday , would go seeaner but doctor appt are slowing us down..

Do use a foam wind sleeve with your GoPro?

I have in the past, problem is the camera runs hot already and when you use one of those foam sleeves constantly on the camera in the sun, the camera starts to have problems..plus I'm constantly dunking the camera in the water. It just becomes a huge annoyance.

@@precipiceofgrind ahhh I see, thanks for the advice. I was wondering if they were worth it. Great video again, really got me wanting to get a boat like yours. Seems perfect for fishing and taking to small lakes and big lakes.
