In Suriname I see a lot of these fishing boats operated by Guyanese fishermen. I always wondered how hard this life could be and now you are showing me really what kind of a struggle this occupation is. Thank you for bringing us along this trip. Keep up the good work! 💯💪

I have seen on you tube in Trinidad fishermen with their small boats travel many hours to offshore oil and gas drilling platform and catch fish 500 feet under the ocean, they get very large red fish, snappers, tuna, mahi-mahi and some of the fish I don't know their names. I heard from news Guyana has many offshore crude oil drilling rig in the ocean, any of the guyanese fishermen taken the opportunity to catch the big fish that lives around the offshore drilling platform ?

Deep sea fishing is one the most dangerous job in the world, in fact it is rank as the most deadly occupation. Fishermen put their lives on the line every day they go to work. Perils including sinking ship, rogues wave, men thrown overboard, pirates etc. every year world-wide hundreds of fishermen die at the sea. Without any doubt it is physical work with long hours, sleep deprivation and fatigueness. Denny, I admire how you challenge yourself and to be your own competitors. I have been to several fun fishing trip - Cape-Cod, St Johns River etc. But this fishing trip is very risky and not on my list. Great Video Denny.

The fish you calling a salmon is actually a blue fish. Very oily fish. Meat have a hint of blue and large blood lines under the skin. Usually soak them in buttermilk to help with the taste of the fish.
