Now that place right there reminds me of the Great Miami River, or parts of it at least. Does that water kinda smell a funny or funky there? Looks like it would! Damn, all those little Flatheads around there you’d think there would be some big ones somewhere around there too! Takes bigger ones to make little ones!

River Certified - yeah, that place looks like it’ll smell bad, that’s the way the Great Miami smells too, kinda like a mix of sewage & old used motor oil! The Great Miami River used to be “BAD” polluted because of ARMCO steel and Sorg paper mill used to dump their old chemicals and stuff in it, starting back probably at the turn of the century ( 1900’s or teens) to the 50’s or so. But, it’s gotten a lot better in the last 30-40 years or so, and all the wildlife had all but gone from the river and around it! And the river otters, all the types of water birds and so on have made a big comeback in those last 30-40 years too! I do know that the Flatheads( or Shovelheads as they call them up there, lol), and all the other native fish have made a big comeback too, and that’s not including what the state of Ohio has stocked in it , like Saugeye’s. Oh yeah and I can’t forget Ol Mr Carp, those rascals really thrive in the Great Miami! Later Spence! ✌🏻

I love all the videos buddy. If you ever find yourself in the North Carolina area look up the Neuse river trail. Great kayak launch area and decent flatheads. Just caught 2 10/15 pounders and a giant 36 pounder all within about 30 minutes being out therw

Yall need to get dave to take you out on the boat. I'd probably pay to see that. was cool to get to see you guys fishing together.

@@RiverCertified I'm off an by 2 AM I'll be out there attempting to catch one myself lol just dug up some worms finna go to a lil pond around 12ish an get bluegill an I do have Grass Carp heads to use as well. An yes I will be throwing everything back because we all make mistakes but come on fish are fish if they are hungry they will eat it's kinda a timing an weather type deal for this summer heat days. I'll be alone but I'll definitely be prepared for anything that bites this time around 😁💯✊🏽

Looks good. Was hoping for one of those epic catch and cook Flathead Nuggets video.. Fun time had by all. Oh, Difference between you- Real Manly Fisherman and Josh a fisherman. He's wearing socks, you on the other hand know better and I know who's feet (might) smell better and dry faster. Spenser's could be wrong, not smelling but wet socks are not a fun thing. Give him instruction in this area. Sorry, no offense meant, you guys were having great clean fun. Something we all need much more of right now.
