Love me some cut pinfish action. I finally got to witness one actually slurp a cut pin right by the boat. He just swam right over it and nonchalantly scooped it up. Before that I never got to see one eat cut bait.

Another fantastic video!! It was great to watch the redfish move towards your bait - and then you’re on! I need to get some reds this summer on cut bait. The drone footage was awesome too. 👍

Can you do a tour on y’all’s rods

A couple of questions for you. Do you ever freeze your pinfish and used it cut fresh frozen? If so, any difference? Also, do you ever throw cut bait when you can’t see the sand pockets? Do you get action when you throw it in the grass ever? Meaning you missed the sand pocket or intentionally threw it in a grassy area instead? Love the channel 🤙🏻 🎣 Tight Lines

I’ve never personally tried freezing pinfish, but I know people who do it and have success with it. And yes you can cast your bait on grass too. I try to aim for pot holes because I know reds like to sit in pot holes, but you can definitely catch them over grass as well

I've tried to freeze bait that I've caught like lady fish or mullet and they turn out mushy when you thaw them. Might need to salt them to draw out some water first.

@@chewielewis4002 Thanks for that! I’m mostly wondering for summertime when it’s so hot here in TX and hard to keep bait alive….tho pinfish are one of the hardiest baitfish and last a couple days at least. I’ll play around with it and see how it goes. Thanks 🙏🏻

I didn’t use a split shot, but JC did. I usually don’t use one unless there’s wind or current that’d move my bait on the bottom

It's a Sea Hunt BX 22 BR, and I'd say anything that drafts 14" or less

I gotta be fishing the wrong time of day because I never catch shit at that spot.
