My best tips is to use 2lb line a number 14 hook, and cast into the white water and let it drift down.

I like to get them at bass pro, Tim’s fly shop has them but he is high

Roaring River is a trout hatchery. So i would think they would stock there own part of the river.

Only in zone 3, you can’t use it anywhere else

When i spooled the fluorocarbon line i had memory problems like when i cast it it gets tangled do you have a tip on that

You need to install it on the reel the same way it is on the spool. Usually lay the spool of line down flat with the label up and that is the correct way. And don’t fill the reel completely up.

You are in the wrong area for that type of bait!!!! You are in the Artificial area!!!! Also no ID tag on your stringer!!!!!

+Dan Callaway yes that type of bait can be used in that area lol. Go check ! And yes I didn't have the name tag on that stringer and I noticed later and put it on.

I would thrown those back in there to small.They need to be 2lbs or more to keep

Sir that is a stocked river and I have been fishing there since I was 4 years old never caught one bigger than 1.5 pounds

Back in my day, you could NOT use that type of bait as it really is not artificial. I suppose in your older years you will see people walk down into that same spot with a can of worms. God, help us all.

Steve's Place I’ve just had horrible run ins with them, they look down on me for using a bait caster and think they own all the streams. Now, I’m not saying all fly fisherman are pricks but the majority of them I’ve encountered are.
