Fishing for BIG WALLEYE in Nebraska {CATCH CLEAN COOK}

Спорт

In this episode I'm fishing Lake Mcconaughy in Nebraska for big walleye. The bite is tough, but we grind it out for my new personal best. Then, back in my RV, I'm cooking up the ultimate parmesan-crusted walleye.

    Those Panama and overseas episodes are epic, but I love these "regular" episodes filmed here in random USA spots. Also love the emotional rollercoaster even though I know you don't! Most fisherman experience this on the daily basis and these type of episodes are ultra relatable.

    I fished Big Mac back in the early 70s when my Dad and I went to visit his side of our family.... My Uncle Gail had the ranch, and my Uncle Charles had the farm.... And Big Mac was some great fishing.... We caught White Bass by the hundreds along with the Walleyes....

    My wife and i are moving out to Lake Mac in a couple months and have spent a ton of time out there. Her family lives out there and we have fished the hell out of the the lake over the years. Van’s is a great place to camp and launch from. The lake has been very low the last few years so having their capability to launch without a boat ramp has been very useful. Great spot for walleye fishing as well as numerous other species.

    Come and fish Mac during the spring spawn for walleye. It's a circus out there but chances of catching 10 plus pound walleye go way up. Guys troll or cast Mr twister up at the dam and catch them constantly

    The 25'' female you wanted to eat was a baby maker deluxe. We never keep the big females like that. When they get that age and that size their mercury content is thru the roof. I only keep and eat 16'' thru 19'' fish. And then you're doing your part to help the walleye fishery by turning those big girls back. Really enjoyed the video, Quite entertaining.

What a Sick world we live in when the water is contaminated with Fertilizer and other unknown chemicals in what used to be the cleanest area in the US. Its all about Ethanol and the climate change nuts that will destroy a fishery to push for wind and solar that is also destrying the planet.

    Hey Robert! If you wanna catch some pretty big Pike and walleye, go to lesser slave lake! If you wanna catch walleye, use a hard bait that goes to the bottom, and then troll, the walleye love that! But when summer hits, use a spoon or a swimbait! Oh and for pike, just use anything, they are HUGE there. Oh and troll around dog island or the houses with the red roofs

    @@YakFishField and another tip, go to dog island In mid June/July and go to the little beach on there and start fishing! You’ll get a chase or a fish every cast! And the pike come right up to you to eat your bait! Just use a spoon or a soft swimbait for both pike and walleye! The walleye hang out in the weeds near the islands shore in June/July.

    If the Game and Fish hasnt already put Hybrid Striped Bass in the Lake , The people that fish in the lake should fight it to the end to keep these trash fish out . They eat anything that moves and will , destroy a fishery . They probably already have and you are blaming the Walleye depletion on climate change 4 times a year.
