lol, I thought I was the only one who did that......used my pliers cord to wrap around trees or dock posts. Great vid. l have always done poorly at Dale Hollow, but I do love the lake. Looked like a blast.

Hi Kristine...That's my old stomping grounds. I fished Dale Hollow all through the late 60's and 70's Mostly out of Albany Wisdoms Dock and??? Burksville, KY. Lake is a bunch different now. Beautiful Reservoir but can be tough fishing. We didn't have electronics back then, hell we used to skull the JonBoat, we didn't have a trolling motor. Was great fun though. .

I got my largest smallmouth bass in Dale Hollow 20 years ago. 21.5 inches post spawn female. Nice lake..Guys said I was nuts for not mounting it. I let her go to make more smallmouth.

Awesome fish! Try adding scent to ur lure. I also like using shromz mushroom head from small swim baits..

What happened to that awesome hookset you had on Okeechobee???? These Dale Hollow Smallmouth will often take a lure from behind, putting a foot or so of slack in your line. Set that hook like YOU are the stronger animal!!! You had what you needed on the line!!

Hooksets are free. At least that's what I have been told. Sux when they don't stay pinned. Good video!

Girl put a little more muscle in those hooksets will definitely increase your catches ❤
